I could very well be wrong, as I'm just basing my statement on every single previous Kino/MoC comparison. We can be reasonably sure, however, that the Kino won't have a fat booklet or German-language intertitles, and will just recycle the pre-existing Patalas commentary.

Sunrise and City Girl are arguably the only genuine masterpieces they've released so far, but I thought Tokyo Sonata was quite good. I'm not double-dipping on all them myself - even if Fantastic Planet and Vengeance is Mine weren't Region B, I probably wouldn't upgrade. I'm at a point where shelf-space is a premium!

I love Masters of Cinema's silent film releases and they've only put out 2. Blu-ray releases of Vampyr, Nosferatu, and Diary of a Lost Girl would be instant pre-orders.

Had to slam on the brakes for the "Make Way For Tomorrow" announcement. And just when I was about to pick it up in the Barnes and Noble sale... I put the DVD down at the last minute....
I guess a Blu-Ray will do. Frank Tashlin is a nice surprise too. Although I doubt MoC can pull off including some Looney Tunes shorts on there, but the commentary from the DVD I guess will be ported.

I've already got the DVDs for both, so I probably won't double-dip unless MoC includes substantial new extras. I'm assuming these will be Region B.
