+1 on this.

when Sandra bullock escapes from The Dude by duplicating Steve McQueen's motorcycle jump from The Great Escape i knew i was watching a subtle and affecting homage, and a high water mark of early 90's film making.

To be clear, they're referring to the 1994 Danish mortuary thriller, which was remade in 1997 with Ewan McGregor - not Timur Bekmambetov's crazy Russian vampire movie.

I hope they put out Cuaron's "Solo Con Tu Pareja" out on Blu-ray someday soon. It's available via them on DVD. Another great film.

Yeah. I knew it was coming this year, but I expected it closer to the end of the year for some reason. And I NEVER expected to see it come from Criterion.
It's going to be a tough two months waiting for the November B&N sale to get it.

TIE ME UP! TIE ME DOWN!?? On a Criterion Blu-Ray??

I just wet 'em...

Seriously, if you've never, ever seen it, watch it with your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, partner, wannabe partner, whatever. Total aphrodisiac at 24 frames/second. Amazing film.

Someone missed the clue from a few months back!

Also, it looks like the jazz band from the 2014 drawing was for All That Jazz.

Is the bn November sale a given? Count me in for YTMT, TMUTMD, and ATJ at 20 bucks a pop.

I think it's every July and November.
