Wonder if they'll upgrade WALKER to Blu or get SID AND NANCY back into the collection...
And do an ECLIPSE of his other pictures...

I'm amazed at how good people are at recognizing little things like that from movies. I've seen Repo Man but would have never guessed.

re: The Criterion Collection 4K/Blu-ray Discussion and Release Thread
I've got the MoC steelbook for the movie already, but I might double dip, depending on how the Criterion extras and transfer are. I'm interested to see if any of the other Universal MoC titles get Criterion releases (Two-Lane Blacktop was obvious; I would suspect Universal wouldn't let go of releases like Touch Of Evil or Double Indemnity, but what about Rumble Fish or Silent Running?)...

Here is Criterion's New Year's drawing hinting at upcoming releases for 2013:

The guy on the clock is the other silent comedian, Harold Lloyd (in Safety Last.)
So now they seem to have rights to the Chaplin and Lloyd films, while Kino has Keaton.

Yeah. Wish they'd get Keaton's stuff. I'm not really impressed w/ Kino's work on some things.
I am happy w/ CC getting uh....CC and now HL.
Can't have enough of those classics.

Do we think the apartment complex refers to something? Kinda like the traffic jam last year was for Weekend?

I'd love to see the building be a hint towards The Tenant.
MGM's Blu-ray is largely fantastic, so I personally doubt that.

The leaves falling with music notes is Autumn Sonata, and Babette's Feast is the answer to another clue apparently.
I'm in for both of those!

Babette's Feast is for the same clue that could also be Naked Lunch. I don't know anything about either film, but it sure looks like a 'naked lunch' to me.

I'm guessing the bottom right window is La Cage aux Folles, Le Samourai, and Chaplin's The Kid. MoC is releasing Gate of Hell so that one seems pretty obvious.

I own the Repo Man MOC Blu-ray and am anxious to see how CC will improve on that edition. Repo Man MOC Blu-ray went on my top Blu-ray list.
