So... We're finally going to get that Picnic at Hanging Rock upgrade.

Also excited to see "confirmation" of some Demy titles - I'd love to see Umbrellas of Cherbourg, one of the most gorgeous films ever made, on Blu-ray.

Absolutely! More than ready to upgrade this one.
Donkey Skin disappointed me a bit- but I'd be up for a Demy box set just to get Umbrellas and give some of his other films a look.
Hope it comes out before the summer- but it's probably going to be held back for Q4

A Raisin In The Sun is what's most commonly being speculated.

Fucking Scanners again? Just release the damn film already!

Red Sun would be awesome. That needs a proper release badly.

Oh what a waste Why not just do a feature-length Overacting Negro Ensemble? It would probably be more entertaining...

Could the band represent Ragtime?

I thought about It's a Wonderful Life, but I just don't see Paramount licensing that.

I'm in for Picnic at Hanging Rock.

The Hulot box would be nice, but I already have Playtime which looks nice on BD - and the other two are good enough on DVD.

the UK BFI edition though is better with the full length commentary track.

The comparison on DVDBeaver doesn't show me enough to justify re-buying.
I'm at a point where supplements don't matter much, especially commentaries - which I've rarely listened to in the first place. Hard to watch supplements when I could be watching another film. There's only so much time in the day.

Crazy guess, maybe the California Raisin represents The Big Chill. The first song is "I heard it through the grapevine".

If Umbrellas of Cherbourg is legit then hell yes. I've been wanting Criterion to get that for years.
