As far as I'm concerned, they need to get Woman in the Dunes into HD as soon as possible!

Yes! All of them, please! Get them all out, ASAP, so I never have to hear about them again.

It is the Phantom Carriage as this is already on Criterion's Hulu channel.

Also on their channel now is Red by Kieslowski...odd that the others aren't on yet.

Bringing up Wes Anderson in this thread should result in an automatic ban for repeat offenders. First-time violators of this edict shall be required to type a multi-sentence post devoted to discussion of an non-Anderson Criterion release. They do exist, you know.

How about the people that always complain about the Wes Andersonites? Their punishment should be a marathon of all Anderson's films viewed Clockwork Orange-style.

I'd like some more horror & sci-fi on BD.

Phantom Carriage and Island of Lost Souls certainly fit the horror bill, as does Kuroneko. All three should be on the way for Fall 2011.

I can't describe how excited I would be to have the Three Colors Trilogy in a Criterion Blu-ray. I'm not sure there's another set I want more.

The newsletter clue gives it away that yes, the Three Color Trilogy will be released. I can't wait! This should be a fantastic boxed set

Oh sweetness!

I'm all over it like a hobo on a ham sandwich.

This marks the only time that I have figured out the cryptic picture of the month.

Lord yes. I guess I will be needing those roof repairs (see post 2784).

I actually might have guessed this, but I saw it here first father than by reading the newsletter.

The only time I figured out the clue was for Days of Heaven.

Can't wait for The Three Colors Trilogy. When I first watched them, I watched all 3 in one sitting. I will likely do that again.

I'm thinking of watching them over 3 consecutive evenings so as to stretch the enjoyment and to create some excitement/anticipation for the next one.

YES, Three Colors! Are these usually released pretty soon after being announced? Like, can we expect these this year?

CriterionCast said via Twitter that a Robert Altman film will be announced today for September release.

Oh, what I'd do for a Criterion McCabe & Mrs. Miller!

Of course, one thing I wouldn't do for it is hold my breath...
