Are there any plans for a non-oversized box version? Cos I saw it at Costco and there's no way in hell I'm paying for that. It's too damn big and I don't like how the discs are housed.

You could always buy the UK version - region free and comes in a tin that is not much bigger in size than a normal Blu-ray case (although obviously deeper since it contains 20 discs). Saw the Aussie version today which is packaged the same as the UK version and its much more shelf-friendly than the current US version.

Mine arrived from DD yesterday--just to torture those who haven't received it yet I won't open it for several months. Will just leave it in the box gathering dust. 
I kid, of course. I have to say I'm not a fan of the season packaging--it just looks like the discs are packed into loose paper sleeves. I worry about how they will hold up.

I find it troublesome that the packaging is so awful, yet a little soothing knowing that I haven't really seen many complaints about damaged discs. How about we start taking a tally here of good vs bad experiences with scratched discs? That's really what would swing me one way or the other.
