of course i have, i live on the planet earth, just not in awhile and didn't know if this special would kinda of ruin some scenes with clips and what not.

I think Universal underestimated this title. I have 10 local Best Buy stores. 1 still has the digibook available. Only 2 even have the regular combo pack still in stock.

This might be pretty limited. From what I've read, Best Buy stores got a range of 3-12 copies of the digibook, which was a full advertised item. I'm sure they'll get more stock before the sale ends, but I think this might be a real limited edition.

I think the E.T. steelbook won't be too plentiful either.

How would it ruin anything if you know the movie?

i think it would just make it less fresh if i see this and then the movie. want to be thrilled outright again, if possible. make sense?

yeah I started watching it, and it becomes apparent some spoilers are revealed if you haven't seen it before.

I totally get what Scott's saying. I want to watch the movie again so it's fresh when I see the behind-the-scenes stuff.

Was at my local Best Buy at 10:30 this morning and they had 8 copies of the Digi. Snagged one and used a $3 universal coupon. Will be watching this tomorrow.

my local bestbuy had at least 10 of these.

used a 5 dollar coupon from my trade and save along with the 3.00 off.

so got Jaws digibook for 16.99.

umm....trade and save has ended.

Minor, but I was glad to see the digibook booklet is different than the one that came with the 30th Anniversary DVD. I would have been easy to just re-use that one.

Yeah, I was considering keeping my steelbook pre-order and just buying the Best Buy exclusive for the hell of it (with a $3 Uni coupon), but it's nowhere to be found within about two hours distance from here. Disappointing.

I went to 2 Best Buys in the Chicago 'burbs yesterday evening. Both had only a couple of DVD copies left and that was it. One of them had the "ad correction" which stated No Rainchecks which I find to be incredibly bad customer service considering they failed to mention in their ad that each store would get a MAX of 2 copies.

Nothing at Target, Walmart and Fry's as well.

Finally found one copy at Meijer for $17.99. Yay!

Same experience for me. Finally just went to Fred Meyer and got the standard release for $20.

I got to my local BB around 6PM yesterday and they had about 7 Digibooks left after I got mine.

Got to BB around 2 yesterday. No more of the digibooks and only a few of the regular edition left.

my local manager is letting me use my unused coupons. i have 4 left after using a few yesterday and a few on Sunday.

Was really excited to pick up the digibook at Best Buy yesterday after work ...

... but now, I'll wait for the price on the standard edition to drop below $10 and I'll purchase it from Amazon then.
