I have the Signal on my DVR from Cinemax but have not watched it yet.

National Lampoon's European Vacation.

Still surprised it got a PG-13 back in 1985 for 2 topless scenes even though they are more liberal in Europe.

Beverly D'Angelo could be Amy Poehlers Mom.

"John Wick". Entertaining action film. Watched with my 80 year-old dad who liked it as well.

That's where I got it from. That is a hell of a price for a great looking Blu-ray loaded with extras of a cinematic masterpiece.

Rented both of these yesterday.

Thought Alexander was a cute family movie. Although it's super short running about 74 minutes before credits.

Dracula Untold was just alright. it lacked a little edge since it wasn't an R rated movie. Some good special effects though.

Which BD version? I want to get it, but there appear to be a number of choices, and are there any problems with the transfers?

It was the German Blu-Ray from Capelight, that was packaged with Bride of Re-Animator (1989) as a two-pack Steelbook.

There is something wrong with all the transfers available, all to varying degrees. Same with the audio for certain cuts of Bride of Re-Animator (1989)

If you have the time, I highly suggest reading the thread over at the Blu-Ray.com forums. Some posters there clearly speak about all the different releases and their pros/cons there.

Laggie

It was a decent rental

Mark Webber is a lucky guy to have Kiera Knightly as a GF in that movie.

Batman (1989)

Warner Bros was too cheap and they put Batman and Batman Returns on the same spindle on top of each other.

OK family fare but at 81 minutes at least you don't waste a lot of time if you don't like it.

had heard some mediocre reviews but although not original I found it pretty entertaining.

Nightcrawler

It was good though maybe it would have been excellent if

Spoiler:
If he went solo throughout the whole movie. Also I was surprised Renee Russos character approved of what he did in the end and I thought maybe she had some limits. I thought the incident with the cops getting killed would be the breaking point and she dissolved her relationship with Lou?

I would agree in some aspects, however the way he treats the partner at the end shows a level of callousness they just couldn't have accomplished with a "partner". Agree on Russo's character. Shows she was just as ruthless in some ways

Foxcatcher

I don't understand why a lot of people did not like it.

It was dark and though I hate Tatum he was ok in this movie unless playing that guy was not that far from his actual personality.
