^ also.

Picture was good. At times 3 dimensional and at others, the contrast is blown out. Not that great of a movie, a real let down compared to the first 2.

Black Hawk Down and Patriot Games
Satisfactory PQ on both. AQ on BHD was very good. PG being a thriller more than an actioner didn't have the aggressive surrounds but sounded good when they were in use.

Sean Bean; is there a better bad guy?

-Let the Right One In BD
Lived up to the hype, and then some!

-The Warriors Director's Cut HD
Dammit, why couldn't they have included both versions???

You're in for a treat, the BD is a HUGE improvement over the DVD (if that's what you initially watched it on).

Let me guess: it was the U.K. import?

I'm on a Blu-Ray marathon being that I just got into the format in the past week. Luckily, I have Blockbuster mail-ins.

Watched:

Madagascar 2
The Mummy: Rise Of The Dragon Emperor
Shrek 3
August Rush
Hancock

Bought:

Rush: Snakes & Arrows Live
Yes: Live At Montreux
Pinocchio

I just finished watching Total Recall for the first time. I have the U.K. Import with better video and audio. It looked and sounded great! And, luckily, I enjoyed the movie a lot. It was a total thrill ride from start to finish. A very enjoyable action sci-fi flick.

"Rush: Snakes & Arrows Live" is definitely the best concert video I have ever seen and heard. The DTS-HD track is very clear and really gives you the feeling of "being there."

I made the mistake of starting to watch "Yes: Live At Montreux" right after the Rush disc. Even though both have DTS-HD tracks I felt underwhelmed by the Yes mix. A day later, I whipped out the Yes disc again and, on its own, it actually is pretty good. The venue is much smaller so it doesn't have the ambiance of the Rush disc. It still is a solid disc, though for Yes fans.

Donnie Darko BD. Not impressed with either the movie nor the PQ.

Pineapple Express

Quality was very good, haven't had a chance to watch the extras yet. Hell, it took me this fucking long to open up the damn thing up.

I watched Streets of Fire on HD DVD last night. PQ was great. I thought the audio could have been beefed up. The music to me sounded thin.

Transporter 3 like Jason Statham and overall enjoy the movie. I hate the female lead in this one although the bad guy is primo.

^ what's with Transporter female leads and freckles? Other than Shu Qi it looks like they're just trying to one up each other.

Max Payne

Like Babylon A.D. a really pretty presentation for an extremely shitty movie. Although it did make my neighbor knock on my door and call me an Immature prick. The AQ was awesome.

Dewey Cox- Walk Hard it had it's moments. Fine PQ and AQ. Was funny enough to enjoy the movie as a rental but probably not one I'd own.

Jenna Fischer is the ideal woman to me. Girl next door looks but sexy as hell. No plastic boobs, no pouty lips, no puffy cheeks. All natural beauty.
