Is anyone else logged on and not seeing anything about the Live BD event? Will that info not show up until the time its supposed to start?

Man, I hate to admit it, but I am getting really excited about this... I hope its a cool chat with Christopher Nolan. I missed out on the Hellboy 2 event.

So, does the event just start or something? What are you supposed to do? Just start the movie? Stay at the BD-Live page on the Blu-ray?

You go to BD Live on the disc and Log In and go to the option that has Live Screening and Commentary options, and under Live Screening you should see the Nolan Screening, then pick Join.

I'm getting the commentary questions, but the movie isn't playing. It was working then they paused it...

Yes, it's under the community screenings section, which you can find in the "Express Yourself" category. It's only a text chat, which is kind of lame. I thought it would be a video stream of Nolan answering questions that were sent by the participants via their computers. On that level it's disappointing, but it's still fun.

Edit: When I first tried to log on at 15 minutes before the event, I also got a black screen. I ejected the disc and put it back in and then I was able to log onto the BD-live section fine.

I exited and rejoined. Now I'm good. The text is really, really small though, but it's still cool.

Where is this option? It has never shown up for me at all.

I made it 6 minutes. Too boring.

"What made you shoot in IMAX?" Really? Hasn't he gave his reasons in every interview he's done?

Interesting idea, too bad some of these questions are crap... Who's idea was it to have Batman jump off the ledge (or however it was put). Come on.

Finally!

Thanks, guys. I would have never thought to look in the Express Yourself category. It sucks that I missed the first 10-13 minutes. Maybe a kind soul could fill me in later when this is done.

Also, I think it's a bit lame that it's just a text conversation.

It still wont let me in. If I can't even get in the Express Yourself category I will be extremely pissed off.

Kinda disappointed with the live commentary....the text is kind of small and it seems he keeps dropping off and signing back in every other question...on the positive side I had no issues logging in...

My screen just went black again... for people that had this happen to them, did you just wait until it went away? Or did you eject the disc and try it again?

Just wait, it should right itself.

I give you people credit, after about the third asinine question I gave up. The writing is too small, the questions too dumb and it kept interrupting my movie watching.

That's why I think a video response from Nolan would be far more interesting than text... Of course, they're having technical difficulties with text, can't imagine what it would be like for video.

Right now the moderator has announced technical difficulties, so the movie is paused.

Edit: They fixed it. Movie has started again.

Exit and rejoin the screening. Right now it's paused to adjust for technical difficulties.
