Even though it's not a genre flick, Anchor Bay does have out one new title today (Sex and Death 101).

This will look spectacular on BD.

Jewel of the Nile is scheduled to be broadcast on HDNet Movies in a few days, so I was anticipating a Blu-ray release.

As for Daredevil, I would hope with Blu-ray's storage capacity, they could do a 2-disc set with the theatrical cut and all its extras on one disc and the DC and its extras on the 2nd. It's the least Fox could do considering it'll have a $39.95 list price.

This is just a "collector's edition" that packages the current edition with some non-disc material, right?

BTW, I wish Anchor Bay would bring out Time Bandits, but only if they've stopped using DNR.

I know the first part of the year we didn't get lots of announcements, but lately it seems the studios are starting to really ramp up on releases. Q3 and Q4 not only are going to have a high number of releases, but also high quality.

visually 'Re-Cycle' is very impressive, as a narrative though it's truly a terrible movie, total style over substance movie.

What I meant was, A Christmas Story is already available on BD. So, are they also doing a CE of the BD?

It only get's better after Xmas 08 your going to see DVD in for some real pain. Studios are focusing more on Blu-Ray now as there is more money to be made in long run from Blu-Ray than DVD.

From reading on blu-ray.com, it appears this is the same disc with movie related product junk thrown in.
