According to a member on HD Digest's forums, Navarre is a distributor for several retailers. They have the listing. I hope Grindhouse isn't far behind.

Odd that Weinstein would release 1408 first and not Halloween or other films that are sure to sell better. I'm not complaining though, I'd much rather have 1408 first the nthe Grindhouse films.

That isn't particularly fast though, it seems to be the average turn around these days (4 months) for a heavily promoted movie at least.
Cloverfield, for example, had a 3 month turn around. Juno had a 4 month turn around from Limited release to DVD Release (while it was still making money in theaters no less).
Dunno why I'm bringing it up, I feel like being right about something today
(an easy counter is how Spider-man 3, Shrek 3, and Pirates 3 all took upwards of 6 months)

Looks like WB is joining the digital copy crowd. With Disney doing the same for Nightmare Before Christmas, that leaves Sony, Universal, and Paramount. I'm sure they'll be doing the same thing before the year's out.
It would be nice if they could just include a download code without having to include an extra disc.

Sony has announced the release of four films on Blu-Ray for August 12.
Those films are Maximum Risk, Half Past Dead, 7 Seconds, and xXx: State Of The Union.

Somehow, I don't see any of these flying off the shelf.

I wonder if BD-25 is enough for The Lost Boys. I guess it is since it's only 97 minutes, but there are about 90 minutes of supplements too. I suppose those won't take up much space if they're VC-1 though.

Um, I thought Sony wanted Bluray to succeed? I would have thought THEY would be the most aggressive at releasing big name/must buy titles.
Im starting to think they invested in the demise of bluray via futures contracts. Theyve watched Casino Royale too many times.

Here's hoping for a decently priced 2-pack.
