So after doing some reading it's going to be the 350 or the panny 35. That Sony deal may be too good to pass up.

How important is the 1GB drive for the 350? Is it worth it to buy one for $15?

It depends. If you want to download BD Live content you would need it, if not, I wouldn't worry about it then.

Well the Blue color won't match anything but at least I won't have to redo the Harmony because the codes are probably the same as my old DVD player.

If anyone dosen't feel like waiting Amazon has the Sony S350 for $215. Not a great deal but a good price. Debating if I should get it or wait and see if I get selected for the holiday lottery.

It's an early bird special for tomorrow morning. You'll have to wait until then to get the discount.

I checked Kmart.com and it was coming up there for $179 today. I guess Sears.com takes a little longer to update there prices (even though it's essentially the same site)

Kmart had this on sale for Thanksgiving. Sears will have it on sale in a few more hours.

Looks like both Sony Style and K Mart are out of stock online. Sears website is down. I might grab it on Amazon for $200...or I might just pay the extra $30 and get the Panasonic BD35K.

Had the Sony BDP-S350 in my cart at Amazon @ 4am CST when it went down to $199. Checked Sears' site & saw it for $179. Decided to wait until nearly 5am and drove down the street to Sears @ the mall. Not too many people, so I get in line, went inside & found none on the shelf. Asked a manager & he said to pay for one and pick it up from the back. Spent ~40 minutes at the register, paid $193, picked it up & went home.

Then I bought a few BDs from Amazon & went to bed.

Anyone know the latest on BD players that stream NetFlix? Last I recall, there were two players (LG and Samsung?). Any recent feedback on this feature or updates on improved players on the horizon?

I'm finally fully Blu-ray!!

I finally broke down and bought a Playstation 3. I really am waiting for Oppo to release a multi-region Blu-ray player (which is why I haven't owned a Blu-ray player yet), but I just couldn't wait anymore. Decided on getting the PS3 and using that until the Oppo comes out. It was $249 so it was $100 more than I wanted to pay right now, but I have 12 months to pay it off interest free.

My only worry now is that I might get hooked on Video Games like I am on films

The LG 200 is region free BD, DVD and plays PAL DVDs with a very simple remote hack. That is the only region free stand alone BD player available at the moment.

LG 300, Samsung 2500/2550 do Netflix.

Blockbuster has hinted that some BD players will be able to stream their films in Q1 2009...so if I had to make a guess, it would be Sony. Simply because Xbox 360 has Netflix support so Sony might want Blockbuster support for their PS3. This would also make sense if you factor in Blockbusters support for Blu-ray and Sony in general.
