Happy Feet for HD DVD and Blu-Ray is only $24.99 at Blockbuster stores. Cheapest price for this title at any B&M.

Looks like the USD code is dead.

Looks like Target has abandoned HD-DVD....At least the one near me.

They have all older titles, but newer ones for BD. That said, the BD titles are all $29.99 regular price and the hd-dvd ones are all $19.99.

Yeah, I've noticed the local Targets haven't had anything new for a while. The last 'new' release that showed up here was World Trade Center.

I noticed the same thing Saturday. I might have something to do with the fact that Target actually sells a Blu-ray Disc player in their stores (PS3) versus HD DVD players, which they don't.

Target also sells the HD DVD add on, however they have stopped adding new HD DVDs at my store as well. Happy Feet, Casino Royale and Rocky were all added recently on Blu-ray.

For any other Canucks, Best Buy Canada currently has the Sony catalogue blu-ray discs on sale for $19.99 until April 11. It's pretty much anything except new releases (New Catalogue releases are in though: Layer Cake, Big Fish, Identity).

I'm picking up quite a few. (Monster House, the 3 above, click etc.) And if you have a future shop in your area, go in for a price match, a lot of these discs are way overpriced, so you'll save an additional $2-$3.

Crap. Sorry about that. I should've checked my facts a little better, but then I don't frequent the game section much.

Well, so much for trying to be diplomatic about it then, looks like Target is favoring Blu-ray Disc. Given that they are selling a player of both formats, in some form or fashion, either BD sales are better than HD DVD or there marketing is. Neither is good for HD DVD, I'm afraid.

Like some have said, looks like Wal-Mart is clearancing out their HD-DVD players. My store has a bunch of D1 for $200 and they have one A2 for $300.

They were pretty stupid at that store. Didn't carry any HD titles but sold the stand alone players. They had 3 BR movies but didn't sell the stand alone players. They've pulled the BR movies now as well.

My Local Best Buy has cleared out at least half of the HD-dvd/Blu-Ray software inventory. This goes with what some have said on AVS that Best Buy was cutting back on HD stuff not moving I guess.

If you look closer, you'll notice that's actually the SE DVD, not the HD-DVD version.
It says "HDD" under other formats.

Although, it's listed in the HD section, the item title seems to indicate "SE" while the others show [HD-DVD]

Holy crap, I just looked up a title I've been wanting that has no picture, but is listed as a "BD-DVD" for $15.99. Is that their terminology for BD? "NDVD" is the media format.

Okay, I went ahead and ordered it: Monster House for $17.08 shipped, thanks! That was one I was wanting to get on some of the Best Buy BOGOF sales, but I had nothing to pair it with.

Shipping is steep, but you can snag Last Samurai and The Phantom Of The Opera on HD-DVD relatively cheap. I opted for only Samurai because Phantom does not interest me.

Still at $12.49 per title that's a great deal. Too bad I already own Samurai and am not interested in Opera.

I saw over at avsforum that the Compusa's that are closing are currently at 40/50% off and some stores still have some BD/HD DVD's left. I haven't been to my local one (Mr Cinema, have you been by there recently?) but some of you may have some success.
