From the review:
Despite its good points, I was quite disappointed with this transfer in the end, because I saw a frequent and unacceptable amount of video noise and compression artifacts. Much has been made of the bugs that continue to hamper the Samsung BD-P1000 first-gen Blu-ray player (the only consumer deck currently available on the market) as well as Sony's continued use of the MPEG2 compression codec. I really don't know where the fault lies, but judging by how this disc looks on what we, as consumers, have available to us today, these kind of problems are very frustrating. There are frequent areas of the picture, both during the color and black & white segments, where macroblocking and video noise are clearly visible (and it isn't film grain, which would be consistent in size). This disc just isn't up to snuff, and I only hope it is the hardware, and not the software.
-----------------
I really like the CE of this movie and wouldn't give up any of the SEs. I think this movie is prime for a BD SE when they start pimping more of Nolan's movies.

Oh, yeah, Saw's transfer doesn't sound like it is that great. Which is a shame, since I sold my Saw disc a while ago, not to mention it isn't the unrated cut. I'm sure they will double dip on it soon enough.

In short, they kept asking me the same damn questions (like is it still unopened and so on) and would only answer every few days. Anyways, one day, they said, Sorry we cant refund you since its past 14 days. I bitched and complained and they finally refunded me (i ordered from somewhere else).

If you paired it up with something else you were wanting anyway to spread out the shipping costs a little bit it would be a very good deal.

Sorry about it being backlogged, but you are getting it for like half price, so it's still a good deal, right?

Holy crap. HD-A2 for $409 w/ free shipping from Amazon. The 3 free HD-DVD rebate is also still going on, was there a price drop or something?

$23.95 is Amazon's normal price for the $34.99 list titles. The $22.69 was one of Amazon's temporary drops that you have to jump on when you see them.

I just picked up a used A1 for $200 from a media exchange store and it includes a BB 4 year warranty (40 months left!).
I was planning on using part of my tax return on a A2, but I'm pretty happy spending half that amount.
It means more movies.
