Details and coverart of alot of the upcoming Universal titles have been posted here...
http://hddvdformat.blogspot.com Damn, TruHD 5.1 for The Fast and the Furious and sequel...shit, I might have to pick those up. Also, that Fear and Loathing disc looks good too. |
Im wondering something.
Ok, we got the BD announcement of GNGL recently. Why didnt they just announce the HD-DVD version at the same time?? They had to have known that it was going to be released also. Maybe they were planning to announce alot more hd-dvd titles at the same time as GNGL and something is holding up the rest?? Also, it seems like since this is coming out on 8/1 that they would have announced their plans for V also if they were gonna release it. |
AFAIK the GNAGL HD DVD announcement wasn't really a "big official announcement." Maybe it will be a part of that bigger announcement at some point...if they ever get off their lazy asses.

Another one for September 26th -- The New Orleans Concert (Bonnie Raitt, Joss Stone, Keith Richards and Aaron Neville) from Concert Hot Spot.

sunovabitch. I never saw this.
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...&&#post7925689 Sorry, Shawshank won't be this year, I'm told. |
Damn. :(
Still, with that Superman box set coming out, maybe it's good that they're holding some stuff off until next year. :D |
I like shawshank and want to own it, but seriously, it seems like it comes on hd every day.
|
Meh. I can wait a bit for Shawshank I guess. Lord knows I have seen that film enough times that I can quote it on spot.

Theres also rumors on avsforum that New Line wont be releasing anything til next year at the earliest.... There's a reason why they're "coming soon" list doesn't have dates. Everyone is assuming it means end of '06. fitprod |
