I didnt care for it in the theaters, but I might actually purchase it if they release on hd-dvd....ill give it a second try....I sometimes like movies at home better than in the theater.

Ok, we got the BD announcement of GNGL recently. Why didnt they just announce the HD-DVD version at the same time?? They had to have known that it was going to be released also.

Maybe they were planning to announce alot more hd-dvd titles at the same time as GNGL and something is holding up the rest??

Also, it seems like since this is coming out on 8/1 that they would have announced their plans for V also if they were gonna release it.

AFAIK the GNAGL HD DVD announcement wasn't really a "big official announcement." Maybe it will be a part of that bigger announcement at some point...if they ever get off their lazy asses.

I actually like the intended, muffled narration of the movie. Don't see the benefit of said track, personally.

That the sense I got from the New Line reps at ComicCon.... They could just be paid lackies, but I've got a feeling many people are going to be pissed at the end of the year with regards to "ThePictureAndSoundOfPerfect" wesite...

There's a reason why they're "coming soon" list doesn't have dates. Everyone is assuming it means end of '06.

We arent going by that list....we are going by the comments of the wb exec....he said at VSDA that Lord of the Rings would be released before the end of the year.

That list was just further proof. I think its possible that it will be released...Maybe right now, its higher up and just hasnt gone anywhere yet.
