Ordered one as well. Should I have done the $43 overnight shipping option?

Awesome, thx candyrocket. Did anyone else notice on the cover that it comes w/DVE test patterns?

If it includes all of the DVE patterns that I normally use, they may have just lost themselves a sale of an actual title. Plus, this sampler may actually be easier to navigate and get to the patterns, if the HD DVE is anything like the SD DVE.

I also find it somewhat funny that (assuming this arrives quickly), this would be my first title with TrueHD content.

The guys that run this site just posted on AVS and said they're still replicating the HD DVDs and that it will be middle of November until they ship.

Thanks candyrocket786. I ordered the HD sampler; for $3.95, why not? If it has test patterns, all the better.

I stopped in Best Buy after work. They have also relocated their HD DVD/BD movies to one of the back units in the movie section. So nice to see 5 full rows of high definition content. They appeared to have just about every single title. I picked up 2 Fast 2 Furious. As previously mentioned, it was tagged at $19.99 but rang up $24.99. I was Johnny-on-the-spot and pointed out the misprice. Getting a HD DVD for $20 at Best Buy is definitely a bargain.

FYI, Tokyo Drift was $29.99 and Fast and the Furious was $24.99

Did Tokyo Drift ring up as $29 or was it priced at $29?

Don't know. I ordered it from Amazon at a much higher price.

It probably rings up $29.99 because that's what the website says. I think .com lists 2 F 2 F at $24.99

Looks like Universal has switched to the new HD DVD case. Gone are the little feet and added is a little latch you open to open the case. The shape looks almost identical to BD cases and the hub is the exact same. I think this new hub will cause more loose discs compared to the old one that is in the "feet" cases.

Just checked. The website says $34.99 for FF3. I'd say it does ring up at that price...

I already had one loose disc with Land of the Dead. could be a problem down the road with ordering through the mail but I do like the new cases a little better. The older ones are a little more flimsy.

Today both Dirty Dozen and Grand Prix shipped and Adventures of Robin Hood moved to shipping soon. Hopefully, I'll get them by Saturday so I can watch them all this weekend.

Well, I had cancelled my orders already, so they just said, "We can't reinstate orders."

Constantine is $14.99 at my local Fry's (San Diego). The Fugitive is apparently the same price in other stores but it was full price at mine.

FYI.

Buy.com has an offer now giving $10 off purchases of $30 and up when you use google checkout (just click on the regular checkout and follow the instructions for the google checkout option). With free shipping on orders $25 and up. I was able to get Traffic and Last Samurai for $30 shipped.

Great news, MJEntertainment has added more HD DVDs to their site.

I had no plans on upgrading Happy Gilmore, but for $11.99 I might have to!
