WB will release Lady in the Water on Hd-dvd/Blu-Ray: Dec 19th

Hd-dvd looks like it will have TrueHD.

Paramount has also announced World Trade Center on Hd-dvd/Blu-ray for Dec 12th .... more info to come

I got it from our stores distributor. They are pretty reliable when it comes to posting information like this. And they don't put anything up to order until they get word from the studios. If you want you can take it as a rumor, but i'd say it's a pretty reliable rumor.

I'll pick up Clerks II on HD DVD. Now if they released the original Pulse (aka Kairo) on HD DVD, then I'd be excited. But I have no interest in the remake.

I expected this, and now it's almost offcial.

I just wonder why they couldn't have announced it two months or so ago when the DVD was announced.

I'm glad The Breakfast Club and The Deer Hunter are coming.

Could the reason for the possible delay on the Weinstein titles be that they're supporting Blu-Ray, and they want to release both formats on the same day? Are they supporting BD at all? What I read was inconclusive.
