Is this the first Universal title that gets True HD sound? Kong doesn't, right?

I'm personally okay with the combo situation for Miami Vice, as it means that we're actually getting both cuts of the movie (the Theatrical on the SD side, the Extended on the HD side). It's not perfect, but at least we're getting both versions. Hopefully, if they ever work out seamless branching or multi-disc sets, we'll start getting HD versions of multiple versions (unlike Superman...ugh).

I have Troy and Perfect Storm for TrueHD. However, my ears can't seem to tell the difference between DD+ and TRUEHD.

Bubble has been released for Blu-ray by Magnolia Entertainment on 9/26. I thought Magnolia was going to release movies on HD DVD. What gives? HDNet already has HD DVDs out. I thought it would just be a natural progression?

True. That eliminates any temptation to do a blind buy for me. I'll put it in the Netflix queue.

Was wondering who would give the bad news... Sigh, I'll probably get this as I enjoyed the flick (as I do all of Mann's) but hopefully it'll be close to $25 somewhere.

Slither (with the same studio and retail price) is $24.99 at Amazon. Miami Vice should be about $22 there with the 10% off and A9 discount.

I'm a big fan of most of Mann's stuff, but I haven't had a chance to see this yet. I'll start with a rental.

I would be surprised if Kong doesnt have TruHD sound...I bet it will.

If it doesnt and also is thin on extras, I bet we will see a multi-disc version next year.

Miami Vice is due on 12/5 on a dreaded combo disc. The SD side contains the theatrical version, the HD side is the director's cut (seven minutes longer).

This movie was so grainy in theaters, it'll be interesting to see how it fares on disc. That final shootout is going to sound SWEET on TrueHD, though.

Nice I really liked this movie even tho I dont like Colin Farrel. I loved the grainy look to the film, one of the reasons I liked it so much. Gave it a much grittier look than the TV show.

For those that dont know The Hulk got delayed for an unknown amount of time due to unknown reasons. Sucks as I was rally looking forward to seeing those Utah scenes in HD.

That list is sick and is making me think about selling alot of my SD discs. Its looking like were going to see alot of movies released in 07. Deadwood, Band of Brothers &From the Earth to the Moon in HD, I cant wait for those and will pay any money they deem necessary. Seems like they are pulling out all the stops from here on out and releasing all of the big titles. Very nice List is all I can say.

HDscape has Stargaze II up for Preorder

I loved both 1 & 2 for this series, even tho 1 was better and these will definitly fare well from a HD upgrade. I am all over this one. Hopefully the original one follows suit.
