I reached 104 this year, with 18 years participation and 15 years at 100+. Perhaps next year I'll try for a new personal best, but it wasn't to be this year.
Thanks again to Chad, but also to everyone who suggests movies for the subset. Although I didn't make 100% subset viewings, I saw some interesting new things, particularly Beast and A Dark Song, among others.
I already miss the Challenge. See you all next year!

I like the format chart. I was thinking a lot about my challenge journey by format this year. I watched a lot of UHDs - at least compared to my past challenges. On the other end of the spectrum, I only watched one DVD, and that only came on Halloween because my friend picked out Murder Party. I also had probably my lowest tally watched from my DVR.

One more thing. As far as I know I'm hosting next year's, but the possibility exists I may not. It's dependent on what I have going on at the time and/or if I'm simply burnt out by that point. I only bring it up being next year is #19 and my OCD-riddled brain would be compelled to host #20 as well. I couldn't do the former without the latter, it would be a package deal. If I whatever reason I don't, I'll let you know by the time the pre-challenge thread goes up, and, of course, I would share whatever I have ready to go with whoever wishes to take over hosting duties. Again, not saying anything definite, I'm simply throwing out a "just in case".

Can’t imagine Chad not being here and running this, they are the main reason DVDTalk even still exists imho. But just in case, let’s form kidnapping and cloning committees to cover our bases.
