^For me it depends on which I saw first: Dawn of The Dead & Stripes Extended cuts the extra stuff just sticks out like a sore thumb, but if I saw the extended cut first: Walk Hard & Club Dread, then when I watch the regular versions it seems like something is missing.

I'm the same way. I watched the theatrical cut of Natural Born Killers so many times I dislike the director's cut, because so many of the extra shots change the timing of the music cues that it almost has the effect of listening to a song you really know well and the record skips.

Outside that, I've enjoyed repeat viewings of Possessor (2020), The Hunt (2020) & The Evil Dead (1981).

Repeats include Baby Blood, Curse of the Demon and Sweet Sixteen.
I've had a string recently of what you'd call mediocre but very watchable films. Hoping to step it up in the second half.

Finished up Come To Daddy (2019).
The film started off on solid footing, then quickly lost all of its steam a little past the halfway point in the film. At that point, I was bored (outside one hilariously gory scene).
Way too much exposition in this one.

My husband and I just finished it tonight. Really good and deeply depressing. I'm glad I speak Korean so I was able to explain some of the mistranslations and cultural cues to my husband as we watched.

Queens of Evil (1970) was a great slow-burn dripping in psychedelic dream imagery. Mondo Macabro produced a bloody fantastic Blu-ray. The Dark and the Wicked was very effective trauma horror (is that a thing?). Massacre at Central High was a surprise, despite being the complete opposite of what I thought it was. Pet Sematary II (a surprising FTV), if only for Clancy Brown's gonzo performance. Had a lot of fun with Death Screams and Don't Panic (1987).

Ya, the horror at the end was shocking. I did like the lights and scene. Also, anytime Jena Malone is in something, I like to watch. Good actress.
I have it cause of WWE Network and also for the Olympics. I don't know too much about the movies, but the ads do get annoying for watching WWE specials.
Any of these streaming anywhere?

Last night we watched the Joe Bob Halloween special with Angel. I've never seen the film and I liked it. The Joe Bob stuff was great.
It was 2:55 - does that count as 2? 1.5? Or just 1?

Thanks for the tip. I just watched the trailer and it looks awesome. I hope to watch it in the next few days.
Last night we watched the Joe Bob Halloween special with Angel. I've never seen the film and I liked it. The Joe Bob stuff was great.

Yeah, with it being an hour and a half added, I would throw just that extra stuff down as a whole one. That is like watching a long feature length documentary/extra and since it is part of it, I would count it as two. But that is just my opinion.

I hit 60 movies today, so I'm feeling optimistic about getting to 100 if I can keep up this pace. I'm going to see Hadestown at the Kennedy Center tonight, so I can check off the optional live event, but it is going to take away my movie watching time. I'll have to watch some of the Karloff pictures from the Monogram sets this weekend to make up for it.

If you hit 60 today, you can afford to lose a little time on your momentum. Unless you have a couple more days later this month that will be very low count. All in all, sounds like you're making great progress.

Going by my star ratings, my favorite first time views at the halfway point are: Malignant, Road Games, Why Don't You Just Die!, The Queen of Black Magic (2019 remake), and The Man They Could Not Hang.
Why Don't You Just Die! I counted as a wild card. It's an ultra-gory Russian black comedy/thriller. I see it described as "Tarantino-esque", which I suppose is reasonable (not just the tone, but with a twisty story construction where you jump forwards and backwards through time eventually filling in all of the characters' background and motivations).
Watching more of my Karloff sets, Before I Hang had me shaking my head again at the "good" character's attitudes (and had me thinking how little society evolved for some in the 80 years between the movie and now). Karloff's character is a kindly doctor who is on trial for euthanizing a patient. The patient was old, had a terminal condition with no cure, and was suffering greatly in life. At the end of the trial, the judge pompously lectures Karloff about how life is sacred and only God has the authority to take a human life. The sentence? Death by hanging, of course!
Being a Karloff horror movie, you can guess that things don't go as planned though
While enjoyable, it may have been the weakest movie in the set for me. It eventually settled into the old formula (old even in the 1940s) of a person being transplanted with something from a killer, which of course turns them into a killer.
