Is the checklist finalized enough to add to our Lists yet, or is it still a work in progress?

For those with Hulu Plus, all of the Irwin Allen science fiction shows are available on hulu. Most are the complete series as well, minus Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea which only has 2 seasons available. Also the complete series of Star Blazers is on Youtube.

^Matheson has enough SF credits on film to stand alone. If anything, split the Bradbury line to make 2 lines of 2 persons for bit more variety.

Is series 3 on YouTube?
There is a continuity but these series were all made at different times.

Nuts. I was hoping to watch Dredd, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter and Zombieland, but the library has none of them. It does have a dozen copies of Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill, though. If only that was Sci-Fi...

Re: 6th Annual Sci Fi/Fantasy Challenge
I just edited the checklist, splitting up the written by category to two lines, Ray Bradbury / Phillip K. Dick, and HP Lovecraft / Richard Matheson.
Something else I've noticed lately while watching a few episodes of Tekkaman Blade. The Japanese version is definitely more adult and violent than the dubbed version, Teknoman. Milly/Maggie made a poop reference in one episode, and the fight between Noal and D-Boy after Aki/Star was in a coma, was a lot longer and more violent than the fight between Ringo and Blade in Teknoman.

How does watching a movie and then rewatching it with commentary count?

Re: 6th Annual Sci Fi/Fantasy Challenge
I just picked that up so maybe I'll watch it too.

Right now I'm sitting on half-finished seasons of Buffy and GOT, plus sitting on complete seasons of Revolution, Orphan Black, Continuum, and Lost Girl. Not to mention deep catalog of B5 and DS9 6-7, catch-up movies like Looper, Battleship, Wrath of the Titans, and Snow White/Huntsman. I own way too much stuff that is eligible for this challenge.

Two full shelves. Ten feet long each. It could be July for three years in a row and I'd be fine.
Edit to add: Not trying to brag, I'm not proud of this fact actually....

I'm not bragging (well not much) but I'm very proud of my SF collection and am always on the hunt for stuff to add.

Think I might start out with The Thing trilogy (Original, 82 Remake, Remake Prequel). And maybe the commentaries.

I like that idea.

Re: 6th Annual Sci Fi/Fantasy Challenge
I'll see your 20' and raise you 10' (at least - and that's just the cataloged stuff). I have just under 500 SF titles cataloged (I don't catalog until I've watched the title) and the catalog doesn't include TV series. The uncataloged material would add another 5' or so. My statement about doing a full year was assuming I'd watch at least 100 entries per month for that year.

That's a neat idea.

Re: 6th Annual Sci Fi/Fantasy Challenge
Sci-fi TV is really my blind-buy kryptonite. I didn't even mention the other back catalog I have sitting around: New and old Who, The Prisoner, Defying Gravity, Stargate, Roswell, Smallville, Enterprise, etc. Most of it I have to watch by myself, though I was fortunate that the wife was willing to sit through Fringe, BSG, Dollhouse, and Lost.
Thanks!
