Is there anywhere online that sells digipack plastic hubs? With a little modification and a glue gun, the packaging could be salvaged, methinks.

Good idea! I've got a few extra clear digipak trays laying around.

But would that make the case too big for the slipcase?

Funny how the inside cover looks way better than the slipcover. Or is that an insert? Paramount is too cheap for that... I wanted them to go with the bible one sheet poster for the cover. Maybe i'll just toss the slipcover. It's incredibly lame that the discs are set that way though.

The video store I work at got our shipment of twbb today and of the 24 copies we got 20 of them were in keepcases the other 4 were in the flimsy cardboard slipcases similar to the packaging of an inconvenient truth. So hopefully there will be some of both to choose from come tuesday.

Do you work in a video rental store? Did the 20 come rental ready or is there really two different styles of packaging for this?

I don't work in a rental store, and all the copies we had were in the cardboard packaging.

For some reason, I can see wal-mart and target as likely bets for carrying the keepcase version. Btw Noahtc, just to clarify, was that the 2-disc that was also in keepcases, or just the single?

i would bet at least target won't get the 2-disc. they haven't been getting the 2-discers of many lately, only the 1.

Looks like I'll be heading to Blockbuster for a keepcase version of the 1-disc.

It's a shame to pass up such great artwork for the 2-disc, but the extras don't justify it, and I'll likely be storing the discs in a standard keep case anyway.

love that 2 -disc packaging too... awesome...

anybody got a heads up for the best price?...

i see the $15.99 pre-order on amazon and the $22.99 for the 2 disc...

i haven't seen much better than that...

Have they double-dipped on Punch Drunk Love? That was the same exact thing: a 2-disc set with a pittance of extras over-seen by PTA. We're not getting another release.

when i first saw the ce packaging i was also very sceptical and thought oh oh it will arrive with major dents to the digi and scratched discs!!
much to my surprise i received my copy and the discs dont have even one scratch on them.
i still wish they would have used two plastic trays instead, because the digipak is a bit thin for my taste! makes it look cheaper.
what would have been cool also, was to use a double amaray with a transparent slipsleeve like the transformer se!

Agreed. I honestly think this is it for TWWB, at least for the foreseebale future.

The Blockbuster I work at got 30 some copies of TWBB and none of them came in Keepcases.
