Anyone have the Eraserhead DVD that came in the "collector's" box? Does it not have a UPC? Mine didn't come through correctly apparently and am curious how others have put this item in.

Same thing happened for me. Haven't taken the time though to figure out about fixing it.

Is there a way to "un-assign" collection numbers? I see you can re-assign them, there's no option to set them all to "none." I don't use collection numbers, and I was wondering if there was a way to do it at once instead of individually. I don't track costs either, so it would be nice to have that removed as well.

I'm not sure, I think the best advice is to post in the Invelos forums, I'm sure they would know.

I'd like to see the .csv export option restored in v3.x.

You can open the .xml in Excel, choose the "Use XML Source task pane" option, then drag the elements from the tree into the worksheet where you want the headings to appear. Then you click "Import XML Data" from the List toolbar. Save it and just import again when you update the XML file. It is a one time setup but still a PITA. Also, any data with multiple entries, i.e. Director or Studio, create duplicate rows when the data is imported. The old .csv export would put them in columns.

I don't know why they would remove the csv export, I too used it quite frequently.

Thanks, I appreciate the instructions and I'll try them out.

I still hope they put CSV back--it may be old fashioned but it's really easy to work with.

Finally got around to purchasing this last weekend since I was sick of the lack of support for the previous version. I'm glad I made the switch & finally paid for the product. I had a ton of trouble tracking down the titles that didn't convert over well. Titles with UPC issues were supposed to be flagged & when I chose to show the flags or clicked to see the flagged list nothing showed up. So I went through nearly 900 DVDs & checked mostly to see if any had a contributor yet or not, then updated the info if I needed to & submitted them. In the end, I think I had to submit & correct around 150 dvds, or about 17% of my collection, which was a pain in the ass. I spent probably around 10 hours working to correct & update DVDs, but in the end I'm happy with the results. I love all the small new features & the new look to the program, & one of the nicest extras is the ability to display all the covers.

I just posted in the Invelos Feature Request forum. Please add to the thread and maybe they'll put it back in. Thanks.

The CSV Export function will return. And even better than before. It will be a plugin. I'm not sure when it will happen, but it should be very soon now. Hopefully within a week or so.

When I upgraded to 3.0 I Knife in the Water was replaced by Devil and Daniel Webster. I do not own Devil and when I enter the UPC it gives me Devil. I couldn't find Knife under titles when you want to add movies to your collection. Invelos Feature Request forum had no solution for this, anybody else have any ideas

I've got both titles, and they both show up fine for me with images and everything. However, at actually looking at the cases and comparing UPCs, they both have the same exact UPC. This is how the UPCs appear in DVD Profiler, so maybe this will help?

is there an easier way to fix the unconverted titles besides going in to each title seperately and fixing the UPC or whatever? I have almost 400 titles that didn't convert and I really don't want to spend the next month or so fixing them.

Don't know if it's my computer or not, but has the DVDP site been down all day?

Anyone know what's going on with the site? I'm just curious if anyone has heard something about the outage which has going for (at least) the entire day now...

We're into Thursday 4/19 already and Invelos is still down. Their host, theplanet.com is not reporting any outages, so any issues seem to rest solely on the Invelos webmaster.
I wish they had a separate status site or rss feed so we could know what is happening at times like this.

Funny, when I finally decide to go check this out, I can't even get it.

Is 2.4 still being updated? I went to add the new Major League to mine, and the UPC wasn't recognized.

If 3.0 ever comes back up, will the data from the version I have transfer to this new one?

At first I thought the database crashed but that doesn't explain why the entire site is down... (and it's still down).
