So are we gonna see this in standard DVD, or did the reason to up to HD-DVD finally come?

And I've had the Criterion LD for a few years now. I lucked out and found a used copy at a local shop for under $20.

why do people get so mad about the briefcase, if you don't like it don't buy it, if it comes out in the usa. it is not like wb is going to release the bladerunner set in the briefcase only.

Thanks. I caught about half of the commercial last night during the AFI special and was curious to see the rest.

Did they air it more than once during the show? I caught it during the first hour I think. Was quite a nice surprise.

I saw it once as well. Did they state a release date or month even? I didn't notice. I did notice that all 3 formats were listed (DVD, HD & BR).

All it said was "Coming Fall 2007"

Yeah, I got the impression from that ad that there might even be a theatrical release.

R4 I believe. R1 never gets cool stuff like that.

You know, that entire limited set looks really sharp ... but what I'm a HUGE fan of is that coverart for the digipack. Hopefully that'll be the same art for the HD-DVD edition.

All I want to know is where the hell I can pre-order that set.

Amazing set, but R1 will get that set when pigs fly.
