DVD Talk Limited Edition
Until it is officially announced by Paramount, I'm not holding my breath. Believe me, I have waited for so long to get S2.

Anyone else less than happy with that box art?

The art is okay... nothing great, but it isn't terrible, either.
I'm more curious about the price and what kind of packaging it will be in. (Will they be going for a more-or-less standard $60 MSRP, or will they hit Twin Peaks fans with a $150 price point like we were Trekkies? And will it be in a decent box, or one of those wretched plastic tray "books" bound with tape?)
I'm not bitching... just hoping Paramount does this right.

I'll preface this by saying that I'll be happy with whatever they give us because it's been so damn long. However, I really wish they would release the pilot!

Unlike bookcase, I won't be happy with whatever they give me. I'm expecting a release at least as good as Artisan's Season One box from several years back. After all this time, anything slapdash or second rate will buy Paramount a ton of (deserved) grief. Artisan did a great job on Season One. I hope the folks at Paramount paid close attention to every detail of that release. That's the standard that's been set.

Does anyone know if Lynch has all of his films / tv in single chapters, like Mullholland Drive?

Interesting that it says CBS DVD on the spine when it aired on ABC. I understand the Paramount/CBS relationship but why wouldn't it have Paramount's logo.
Has Paramount ever had a decent, feature loaded release (like Artisan's S1 set) right out of the gate? DD 5.1 is cool, but I want all the same features - will accept the omission of DTS if they give us all the other stuff.

I second this question...I thought there was some talk that we might be getting one complete set, was this just a fanboy rumor?

I screwed myself royal on this one. I sold my S1 set for $35 when the unofficial confirmations started flying, fearing that Paramount would only release a Complete Series set and the market for the S1 set would dry up. Now I have no S1 and they're selling for $100+ everywhere. So besides the fact that I undersold myself by close to $90, I'm now one season short once again. I hope to God the rumors about a Complete Series set are for real and that it materializes some time later this year. There's no way I can hold out another year or two. Curse my stupidity.
