I just want WrestleMania XII.
I got out of wrestling about 1998, so I only want the earlier wrestlemania's. It's too bad that the logo is out for all of the rest of you.

I'm bad about not being able to wait - especially for this - so if I find it at Walmart tonight or Best Buy in the morning I'm just going to buy it and cancel my DDD order.
I wouldn't do something like that. Think about it, if you find it at Best Buy or any retail store you will be paying at least $100 more!!! Think about it.

Not true...Best Buy has it for $199.99. That's only $30 more than what I'm paying to get it from DDD (I have overnight shipping on the order).

Wal-Mart & Meijer didn't have it tonight - Wal-Mart didn't even have the huge Sex & The City set, and of course the employees are idiots and don't ever know anything about the product they work with. I'm gonna check Best Buy @ 8AM, while everyone else is rushing to get Star Wars.

Circuit City, on the other hand, has it for $269.99....no way am I overpaying that much for it.

That's with the leather box signed by McMahon...the price on the regular version of the anthology is $195.97.

When I went to Best Buy this morning, they had 2 of the WM sets, and no volume sets.

I just got back from the Best Buy in Mission Viejo, CA and they hadn't received any of the box sets. Also I was only able to find one copy of the Jake Roberts DVD that came out today. I'll just get the WM set from DDD.

I ordered from DDD on 10/8. Ship Date said 10/21 and it still says 10/21 today and it is 11/1. And still NO shipment!!!
Anyone else having the same thing happen?

Also, Is anyone on the forum that has the boxset yet? I would really love to hear some more reviews and what people think of the set. So if you have the set and you are reading this please let us know all the details and specifics, hopefully in more detail than the first guy that reviewed it. Thanks.

Got this off wrestling forum, heres his/her review........

"so i got the whole boxset today. its cool to finally have them all on DVD. if u buy the full set, u get 4 TV Series boxset cases inside the big box, and they all hold WrestleMania's 1-20 in them. and on the inside of the big box, WM 21 is stuck up inside the box, almost hidden. couple things i've noticed bout these DVDs. no entrance music back then really sucked, glad everyone has some kind of music today. only thing that really sucks, is that some of the entrance themes are edited with some generic music, i guess cause of copyrights or whatever. so far i've noticed Demolition's theme edited, but if u listen hard enough, u can still hear "Here comes the Ax, and here comes the Smasher, the Demolition, walking disaster". so i dont know what the deal with that is. as far as i know, Jim Johnston made that himself. and for those that were wondering, they do keep Jesse Ventura's commentary in on all the ones he appeared in cause they actually show him as well. a lot of very noticeable vocal editing through the DVDs, and not just when WWF was said.

The WrestleMania theme is slowed down for some reason on the DVD menu's
Demolition's theme edited to something else slower and generic
Dusty Rhodes edited with a generic theme
Hulk Hogan saying WWF edited out and said WWE in an interview on WM 5
Big Boss Man's Hard Times theme was changed to the theme he had when he joined the Corporation
Video tape error when converting WM 7 to the DVD, noticeable primarly during Jake Roberts' entrance for his match
Jimmy Snuka was edited with some halfass generic theme
every now and then u hear a little sound in the background, sounds like a video tape rewinding really fast"

Im assuming Rhodes and Boss Man's themes were replaced in fear of whoever it was singing the vocals for those songs hitting McMahon up for royalties.

When dealing with DDD... I've never gotten a confirmation of shipment e-mail until a day or two after the actual shipment.

As promised. I haven't had the opportunity to crack anything open and watch it yet. I didn't expect the extra HHH autograph in there, so I guess that's some kind of bonus item. The certificate of authenticity is not numbered, for those keeping score at home.

But was the certificate a metal plate or not? and was it also signed by Linda McMahon?

Does anyone have the R2 versions of the Wrestlemanias? I'm thinking about getting the set but I would like to know if anything is edited on the R2 versions. Perhaps I will hook up my region free player and set the R2's.

TIA

I came back from Taboo Tuesday kind of pumped to buy the DVD set. I'd been on the fence about it ever since it was announced...but now reading about the ridiculous musical edits like Derringer's Demolition theme, Dusty, Bossman, etc...it's going to be too much to try to ignore. I still may end up getting it, but I want to read more about the different edits.

I'd specifically like to know if on the WM6 DVD they still have the promo for next year's WM7 at the Colosseum in LA, which of course had to be moved to the LA Sports Arena due to lack of ticket sales. In the Legacy VHS edition it was kept in...since they were all recorded directly from the PPV broadcast. Now in the digital age it's much easier for Vince to edit out embarassing stuff like the WM7 promos, and also much easier to be paranoid about paying royalties for songs that weren't huge 'hits' to begin with.

It's strange to read about the Big Bossman's music being edited out, because on wwe.com they have a clip of Bossman pinning the Mountie at Summerslam and his Hard Time music plays in its entirety.

So I guess it is possible my order has shipped, It could just be that DDD has failed to notify me. I hope this is the case, I would be so happy to get WM Anthology in the mail and not even be aware of it shipping.

It is a piece of paper with a pre-printed Linda McMahon signature.
