I wish I was a dvd producer.. I am not. I did help on the region 2 UK edition of Conan The Destroyer. www.angelfire.com/ca4/sarahdouglas. Ms. Douglas did a commentary track for Conan The Destroyer.

The current open matted version shown on HBO looks and sounds great.

If a few more of you run out and buy it, that'll almost guarantee a new release soon. Isn't that how it usually works?

The one and only Region-1 DVD of True Lies has been in stores for almost 8 years, whoever doesn't have it by now either, A) doesn't want it or B) is waiting for a new edition, and if they've waited this long they can probably wait a little longer.

Personally i'd prefer Cameron be heavily involved in an SE of not only this but future releases of any of his films. The commentaries he's recorded for his films have been great listens.

He's only done a handful of films in his career, i've loved almost all of them True Lies included.

Not always.

But if you subscribe to that theory, this title (and many other older titles) have been swept out of Circuit City's closet and are part of a 2 for $12 sale 5/21 - 5/27/06.
