You guys have some really nice collections. I've been focusing on horror movies lately, any suggestions on movies to add?

I'll get in on this action. NickofDoom, it looks like we have very similar tastes as far as sci-fi and animation goes. All the Star Treks, all the Transformers, John Carpenter...nice collection.
As far as horror goes, if you like em cheesy, check out some of the MGM midnite movie titles, they're craptastic!

Thanks Living Dead. Any recommendations on witch ones to check out? Scott, nice collection. You have a few I'd like to get my hands on (Bad Taste LE, Shaun of the Dead, The Killer) I really like the horror and hong kong DVDs. What happened to the rest of the nightmare collection? I notice you have the encyclopedia, but not all the movies.

. In any case, you've got some great stuff in there. B+ imho. Also, I'm a total hypocrite as I have garbage like Bedazzled (I can't sell it because Hurley in cop uniform = drool) and Bring It On (same thing but Kirsten Dunst in cheerleading outfit) in my collection. But I digress.Anyone can feel free to do me.
e: I take that back scott, I'd give ya an A-, after looking at it more closely. I'd still buy some more classic 'n foreign stuff, but that's just me.

DrGerbil,
You've had a great collection for the past year or so. Given its size, I think it'd be tough to get much better. Every single movie on your list that I've actually seen is on that I liked. Well done, sir!

as for the classics...i only have the ones i love. i've seen the others, but never really got into them, especially enough to own. i usually just stick to the ones i really enjoy or love as ownerships.
thanks for the ratings though...i'll check yours' out later...

YAKUZA: C+ (in general) and B (in comparison to other people's DVDs in here)
Eventhough you have foreign movies, ya gotta be more selective! Since you also have a multi-region DVD player, Im surprised that it is only used for other region Korean and some Japanese movies. There's tons of other good non-Region 1 foreign flicks!

I see the Fifth Element and Immortal Beloved in your collection, how about adding the Professional or Romeo is Bleeding to round out your small but important Gary Oldman niche?
True Romance, Air Force 1, JFK, Dracula and Lost in Space.
I think thats an ample amount for Oldman
