Just wanted to let people know that Orgazmo reviews have started appearing on DVD sites. IGN has one, as well as DVDFile.
They verify that the disc is a flipper. Whatever..I'm just glad they didn't cut out any of the original extras.
Unfortunately it looks like only 1 of the commentaries is worth a damn, b/c of sound issues. The other extras are supposedly pretty good though.

from IGN:
Side one has three audio commentaries. The first, titled Drunk, has Matt Stone, Trey Parker, Dian Bachar, Stan Sawicki, Andy Kemler and Jason McHugh. They take a shot of Macallan 12 when certain words are uttered and they are a mess by the end. Trey is actually quite good, talking about what went well, what was tough, how shots were gotten, and so on. The voices are poorly recorded, with the microphone seeming to be very far from all the participants.
Commentary two, Cast, features Maki San, David Dunn, Robyn Rabb, Jason McHugh, Lloyd Kaufman (from Troma) and Matt Potter, plus a few porn stars. This is also poorly recorded and hard to hear in places, but it's no big loss because they have nothing to say. It's just joking and talking about what's on screen. Kaufman manages to turn the subject onto Troma every time he opens his mouth. A master salesman, he is.
Which makes the third commentary, Wild all the more disappointing. South Park writers Pam Brady, Matt Pregger and Kyle McCulloch are joined by Weird Al Yankovic, Dave Foley, Bob Odenkirk, David Cross, Kevin Smith and David Zucker. At first, the audio is so poorly mixed you can't hear a word of it. The audio of the film is so loud that you can't that the commentaries are impossible to hear, and there's a nasty bit of white noise running through it.
Out of nowhere, Weird Al comes in and is much louder and easier to hear, while the movie audio drops. Unfortunately, he is not funny at all. Dave Foley takes over. Kevin Smith then checks in via telephone (with a really bad connection) and tells some funny stories totally unrelated to the movie at all since, by his admission, he's never seen. I gave up after that.

I wonder if they're gonna fix this, and have a replacement plan for buyers of the first issue? I hope so. I've waited a long time for this to finally come out, and I'm not gonna wait indefinately for them to fix the audio problems in the commentaries.

Unless it's an actual screw up on Universal's part, I don't believe they're going to fix it. Remember, these commentaries were recorded over two years ago and since the DVD only had a small production budget to work on, it sounds like faults with the original commentary masters.
It sounds like with the first (e.g. the drunk) commentary, they only had one or two microphones and they had to share them between the participants (similar to the original Clerks commentary for the laserdisc and first DVD release). Same applies to the second commentary. And since the third commentary consists of people walking in and out as they please and people calling in (literally) to give their comments, it's not going to be a very stable source of quality to begin with.
If Universal can fix these commentaries, then more power to them. But if they are quality control issues, Universal should've had these fix when they delayed the title by almost a month and a half.
However, despite terrible commentaries aside, I'm happy that this film is finally getting a release. I've been waiting ever since USA Films announced they were putting this film out on disc, and that was what, 2002?

Sorry, i don't have a digital camera...
Both the dvd's have the same picture, the one used for the cover (Orgazmo with the 2 pornstars). Only on disc 1 the background is blue with clouds, and on disc 2 it is pink with clouds. Hope this helps...

Would a Canadian version of Orgazmo have 2 discs and the American version have a "flipper" disc? I thought the only differences between Canadian and US releases is that the Canadian artwork has English and French. I can not stand "flipper" discs and was going to pass on this release since I already own a import version from a few years ago. If the Canadian release is a 2 disc then I will definitely pick it up. Can any of our Canadian friends confirm that the Canadian release of Orgazmo is in deed a 2 disc set?

On the spine it says 2 disc set....
I watched a bunch of the extras, and maybe there were so many delays because Universal had to put a warning before a lot of extras saying that the views expressed aren't theirs. They also fogged things on t-shirts and hats in 'The Book Of Orgazmo' documentary. And on the deleted scenes commentary, things are bleeped out near the end when they're talking about Tarantino and others...
