WOW! That's a whole lot of films. Can I borrow some? :)

I've never seen any of the Dr Who stuff. My brother use to talk endlessly about the show.

BTW, nice web page. I like how it defaults to text and then after a click goes into detail mode. Lots of good work in the site. :)

BTW, you got a bug. Your return to index link points to .htm but the index is .shtml

:)

Check my sig for my (mosty) up to date collection.

Feel free to tell me what I should lose - I need to do some pruning.

Ah, thanks for noting that. It's fixed now with a redirect.

Can someone rate mine? Check my sig.

Skyler 08-19-04 04:07 PM

What the heck, rate a newbie. Check my sig as well.

Joe 1086 -

Decent collection - a bit mainstream - not that that's a bad thing - I just can't get a good sense of what you're into from your collection.

Stuff like Sympathy For Mr. Vengance bring your rating up, but stuff like Charlie's Angels (both!) seriously hurt it. (though I'll never understand how someone could like both "The Patriot" and "Naked Lunch" - not that you shouldn't, I just don't get it.

But you do have a lot of great films. I give you a 7.9/10 - You'd easily have a 9/10 if you got rid of the movies that kill your brain.

Charlies Angels was gift, been trying to get rid of them for awhile now. I got about 20 movies as gifts, most of them I would of never considered getting.

Very nice collection  Lots of older movies! There's no way I would suggest what movies to lose. That's a pretty personal thing :)

I have a lot of the same movies you have... plus you have a good percentage of anime. Oh, and you have a few I still want to get. I'd give it a

You win! That's the most unappealing assortment of DVDs I've even seen. Congrats!

I have a 9 yr old Daughter. I just had to get "her" the Britney Live. The Charlies Angels, Hilary Duff, etc is hers. The Princess Diaries is hers, Princess Bride is mine, lol.

"It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" in Full Screen that killed you. Had this been in WS, you'd have gotten an A+++.

If you watch this on a widescreen TV, A++. Or if you put heavy black contact paper accross the top and bottom of your 4:3 TV will also put you back to A++. But it doesn't matter now, once rated you're good/marked for 2 years. :)

riveting commentary. You're like Roger Ebert on crack.

Seriously, would anyone like to take a look at my collection. It's in my sig.

I gotta weed out a lot of the crap titles like Head of State and Ali.

stinkeye 08-20-04 02:23 PM

I'll play, click below. I'm mostly interested in recommendations loosely connected to what I have.

QuiGonJosh 08-20-04 05:23 PM

Whew! I was hoping for an answer like that :up:

I'm a big fan of DVDProfiler... but also use DVDAf. You might want to look into DVDAf because you can separate your collection into folders so your daughter could have her own folder. :)

You have a little bit of everything! Of course (my opinion) you need more cult movies but I'll still give your collection a big  btw...Nice folder-work on DVDAf :)

Thats exactly what I've been doing lately. I was buying alot of movies that I barely watched after the first viewing. I paid so little for them (cost of a rental) that it was more cost effective to just buy them. Latlely, I've been selling off alot of those and buying more foreign discs. My buying habits have shifted from BestBuy and Walmart to Xploited Cinema and CDWow.
