Every new review I've seen today mentioned that it comes in either a two disc set or a big boxed set. It's pretty clear that at least review copies were 2-disc-ers.

Those of you getting the boxed set, does it have the 2-Disc version in it? Thanks...

I'd like to know as well. There are 2 discs but I think the 2nd disc is the soundtrack. Box set owners please chime in.

Well, the poll question is "What variation on packaging did you buy?"

And as I said, if people just click on anything without reading the poll question first, there is no way to combat that stupidity.
You calling me stupid? Lazy maybe, irresponsible possibly, but I'm not stupid.

I just went to BestBuy and they had the 2-Disk WS version. Movie is split over the two disks and the bonus stuff is on the last disk. Beautiful art work on each disk. This is the one to get!!!

PRICING BULLETIN ........

Within the last few hours, DeepDiscount has performed its usual major price slash on a big-name title....reduding Schindler's List (1-disc) to $17.89 Shipped (which is 33+% off MRP).

I doubt you'll find it anyplace cheaper, B&M or otherwise.

It's $14.88 at my local Walmart. Digipak version - can't tell if it's one disc or two, but the Digi is pretty thick.

Why would Universal go to such an extreme to make 9 different version of this DVD. Ridiculous production cost.

D18 Fullscreen - Keepcase
D18 Fullscreen - Digipak
D18 Widescreen - Keepcase
D18 Widescreen - Digipak
2 x D9 Fullscreen - Keepcase
2 x D9 Fullscreen - Digipak
2 x D9 Widescreen - Keepcase
2 x D9 Widescreen - Digipak
D18 Collector´s Gift Set Widescreen ( No Fullscreen available)

There is no 2 disc. This is a hoax. Again, if someone suggest otherwise then post an image as proof, please.

Well, if people who "voted" without reading clicked on 2-disc since that's what they would've wanted, that shows a lot about the people who prefer 2 1-sided discs over 1 2-sider!

So what really exists are 1 disc Digipacks in FS and WS and the Collector's set? That's it, right?

According to DVDFile there are 5 versions.

1 disc Widescreen - Keepcase
1 disc Widescreen - Digipak
1 disc Fullscreen - Keepcase
1 disc Fullscreen - Digipak
1 disc Widescreen Collecter´s Gift Set (No Fullscreen available)

However, when visiting Universals website no Keepcase is mentioned anywhere, only digipak. DVDFile could have been misinformed about version variation.

I'm not even sure I'm going to pick this up. Pianist is the more powerful film. IMHO!

I prefer 2 1-sided discs over 1 2-sider because I have a 5-disc DVD player and it's a lot easier to use the remote to change discs at the end of the first disc then to get up and flip the 2-sider over.

Again the lazy factor.

They do make changers that flip, so you should've bought one of those. The only players I have are single-disc, and it's a bigger pain to switch discs than it is to flip one over. I'm sick of these people whining "But I want disc art!!!"

A friend just sent me this pic of his DVD. He didn't tell me anything other than it's the 2 disc and he got it from Suncoast. The only weird thing is that the discs don't have cover art. Not exactly sure what to think of this:

Don't know if that's real, but I'll laugh if people go out of their way to get a 2-disc and it ends up looking like that! (OK, I don't know how to do the smilies, I suck!)

Incredibly cheap (given the $26.98 MSRP on this title). Great deal indeed.

Has anyone ordered from Amazon? They advertise keepcases and I'd like to see what it looks like.

I just bought a 1-disc digipak from Target ($16.99), but haven't unwrapped it yet. Not sure if I like the digi...doesn't seem like it will shut close in any secure way.
