There is no 2-disc version listed .... or any "Keepcased" variant. I don't think a two-disc version exists (for commercial sales). If it did, it'd be listed on the following Universal page. After all, they produced it; they oughta know what versions exist. .....

Widescreen - Keep Case - Single Disc (Flipper) 2 6.06%
Widescreen - Keep Case - Double Disc 10 30.30%
So if there's no 2-disc edition, where did those ten people get theirs?

I thought I made the criteria pretty clear - it seems unlikely that ten different people (making up about a third of the poll) would be confused.
Anyway, the disc(s) haven't even been officially released yet. I'm sure we'll hear from more people this week about which version they received.

I just got my copy from Buy.com. It's the one-disc version, but the packaging is a different kind of digipack. Instead of the flimsy cardboard that most digipacks are made of, this package is about twice as thick and has a glossy cover. Also, there's no slip-cover over it. It's quite nice.

I'm going to pay for mine with pennies instead of a $20, because pennies are shinier and harder to damage, and it'll look like I'm paying more that way.

there is no 2-disc version..people are just way confused. i don't even think there is a keepcase version. they all come in digipaks or whatever they are (thin booklet type packages), single disc and that's it..either FS or WS and then that box set..why do people have to confuse such a simple situation?

A single disc digipak? Has this been done before?
Saturday Night Fever for one.
And, Universal has done it with some of its "Franchise Collections", such as this one (1 disc, dual-sided)......

...there's no slip-cover over it.
Will the package actually stay CLOSED by itself? Or does it have the "All In The Family Season 1 Syndrome", meaning it won't stay fully shut?

Right...and the first Panic Room.
It's a rather silly waste of packaging, IMO, for a 1-discer. But, oh well....
But, since evidently the Schindler Digi does not come with a second "part" (ie: slipcase), I guess in this instance it's not a huge "waste".

Would it, then, be similar to the "Lawrence Of Arabia" "book" packaging, which "snaps" shut? Therefore, no need for any slipcase.

How can there be no 2 disc if people already have it?

If it helps (and I doubt it will, since I don't think we'll hear reports of people getting Region 1 2-disc sets... I don't just mean poll results, I mean, people actually saying, "Yeah, I got the 2-disc version and I got it from Suncoast for $30! What a bargain!"), all the digipaks we have in our store list on the back that it is "Dual layered, Dual sided". If there is as 2-disc version, I'm guessing instead of "Dual Sided", it'll list it as "Two Discs" or something. Also, we have only the digipaks at my Best Buy. No clue what other stores will have/stock, or, really, what even exists at this point. We'll see.
