1 Disc or 2?
What are the official extras?

I hate when soundtracks leave off awsome bits of music. So please let me know!

There were 2 bootleg trailers. I wonder why the menu only lists one. Maybe the second is an easter egg?

Well, considering that they've already released screen shots of the trailers menu screen, and it's in their print ads in the trades, I think the trailers are a sure-bet.
I hadn't actually heard anything about a trivia track, but if it's as cool as the ones on the Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown discs that would be awesome.

If I'm correct the Amazon.jp site doesn't allow you to place it in the cart anymore, just add it to your wishlist, since they sold out long ago (I was able to preorder it two hours after they sent me the notification email
). You can try to preorder it at yesasia.com. Of course since it pretty much sold out just days after the announcement, you now have to pay triple the original price ($200) and pray you can still get it anyway.

The region 2 dvd I ordered is 113 minutes, the region 1 is 111 minutes long... anyone know what's in those 2 minutes? Also, I believe the long fight scene is in color in region 2, can anyone confirm?

purpendicular,
the version of the film i saw here in Sweden was the same as the US one with the black and white fight scene bits.. i can't imagine that 113 minutes being anything more than a misprint because i've never heard anything about it being longer here. as far as i know, Japan is the only country (and maybe some other asian countries) that had a different version.. but only in that it was in color and not black and white.. not longer in any way.

Actually, I've heard that there's extra bits of gore in both the anime sequence and The Bride's interrogation of Sophie scene. I can't confirm any of this, just stuff people have said over in the international Forum. But I guess that would explain the extra 2 mins.

What does the R2 boxset specs and what does the box look like? I don't know if a letter opener, a Mickey Mouse figurine and a T-Shirt? are enough for me to spend all that money. There is going to be an R1 rerelease anyways.
