I count things like Sopranos seasons as 1 DVD and somthing like Star Trek Movie Collection as 1 each. Actually thats how I would do it but DVDAF. com does it for me

woohoo! just hit 100 yesterday!

I Have about 70 DVDs.
No $10 ones and I only buy discs I intend to watch multiple times with worthy extras which I intend to fully absorb.

If I bought DVDs like most of you did, I would have hit the poorhouse a long time ago!

Holy Smokes some of these collections are so unbelievable! I only have 22 probably the least amount in this thread. Once I get a job though all my extra cash is going to DVD purchases. PERIOD! I think they need to create a dvds annonomus, I think were all too addicted.

Never bought a single VHS in my life and own over 300 DVDs and going strong,I feel im getting my moneys worth buying DVDs and never felt VHS was worth it,so I never bought them.

Somewhere between 300-400. I hit 250 very fast once I started actually buying DVDs (many months after I got a player in early 2001). After 250 the number has increased at a crawl as I have been selling titles almost as fast as I buy new ones.

Never bought many VHS tapes. I have maybe 12 and I only ever watch one now (The Competition).

Well I have a physical disability so when it comes to a job its a little tougher. Atleast Im not blind though...then I couldnt see movies!! gah! so it could be a lot worse

288 and I'm barely 21. I don't know where they all came from, or with what money I bought them with honestly, it amazes me hehe. It's definitely something I'm proud of though, as well as my 500 or so cds, which I've been collecting for a lot longer (13 years as opposed to about 3.)

That was posted about a month ago. Does that mean you've bought about 350 DVDs in the past month?

here we are now 2 months later and my count is now 1527. that means I bought 76 movies in the last 2 months. I think I have a problem.
