Yes!
This is truly a great day. I bought my DVD player 4 years ago, and I've been praying for this DVD release ever since. They could offer "movie only" DVDs with only a box set available for $200 and I'd probably be stupid enough to buy it and feel ecstatic! Um, provided I got letterboxed editions with digital sound. Truly a long time coming.
Begs the question: besides the Star Wars trilogy, what is the most egregious sin in terms of a film or series never being available on DVD? As someone who appreciates Star Wars but doesn't care about owning it, I can say this (Indy) release fulfills my list of "how in the hell can that not be on DVD" titles. For me, Schindler would be next, but it's not one I care to own (I just can't imagine watching it that many times!)

THX
Lucas
THX + Lucas = no DTS. Pretty basic, really. Probably true for either one of those words individually, also.

I like the packaging..Who knew that sour puss Harrison Ford does smile from time to time..
As long as the video transfer and sound are up to par than any bonus material on the 4th disc is icing on the cake

Personally, I have no idea why none of Lucas' movies are released with DTS tracks. Always Dolby Digital. *shrug*

I'm very disappointed the original soundtrack is not included. It takes up very little disk space, there is no reason to keep it off.

Edit: I checked. It was. A 5.1 remix will simply recreate (as nearly as possible) the soundtrack the way it was originally heard in theaters. They may have re-folleyed it or something, that would be bad, but I bet it will sound fine.

This sucks. I hate Temple of Doom and Last Crusade is an okay movie so this is terrible news. I've waited all this time for a Raiders of the Lost Ark DVD and now who knows if I will ever own this movie.
