RotLA was re-named a couple years ago for the VHS rerelease.

The title was changed a few years ago for the rerelease of the remastered VHS tapes. The title within the film itself is not changed, just on the box. Hardly worth throwing a hissy fit over.

Great news!
Now I don't need to order those bootlegs I was contemplating....
With the Indy set and the 4-disc LOTR:TT set both streeting in November, I better plan a vacation NOW!

They waited too long to release these. I already caved in and bought the widescreen laserdiscs. I'm not interested in extras. I'd upgrade Raiders if it was sold individually.
I also havn't bothered with Back to the Future. If they'd been released a few years ago I'd be all over them, but I'm not interested anymore.

This is great news!!!! What an action packed November we have in store for us. The only way this could have been better was to hear that we were getting a DTS track, but I am just happy to have these movies finally in my collection. I too will have to take that day off.

Please, somebody tell me that didn't add any of those useless DVD-rom features that can only be accessed by going to a website that probably won't be there in five years. DVD-rom has got to be the worst possible "feature" ever devised for DVDs. What a waste. Just give me everything on the dang disc(s).

My only disappointment is that there will be no commentary tracks for these movies. I know Speilberg doesn't like doing them, but a track from Ford, Lucas and others would have been nice. Oh well, it's not going to stop me from buying!

I can't wait! The packaging looks great, and although it's skimpy on features, so is the Godfather box, but the features are quality. Also, that means more space dedicated to a (hopefully) pristine video transfer.
Hopefully we can pick this up for around 35 bucks.
Cheers to November...

That trailer was great, except for the "Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark" part (boo! hiss!). For me, along with the BTTF trilogy, this is pretty much the only action/adventure series that can stand up to a million viewings.

I can't wait either. Looks good, although I agree they could have hit us with more features.
BTW, is that cream colored set pictured on Indianajones.com a P&S version?

Lucas found a "pocket of time" to get these going and out the door, but not the Original Trilogy of Star Wars?
Anyway, good news about the Indy series though, I thought for sure, after E.T. and Star Wars, it would have been messed with too.
