So this might seem like a dumb question, but does anyone know what Amazon means when they say the Black Friday deals start Thursday at 12 a.m. PST? Do they mean, like, TONIGHT at midnight or basically when Thursday turns to Friday at midnight?

I bought the House Seasons 1 & 2 2pack back in June at Target and it is single sided discs.

$12.99 is the 3 disc one and $19.49 is the 6 disc one. Pay the extra and get the 6 disc one or wait for it to come on sale. The 3 disc one is a piece of crap. AMAZON is bad about combining reviews of the same product just different versions.

The $12.99 Amazon version has a customer review dated July 20, 2009 stating that he/she received the single sided anamorphic discs.

Just above it, another customer review dated August 23, 2009 stating that he/she received the dual sided (non-anamorphic) discs.

This is really a crap shoot...

I personally won't look for the House: Season 1 online due to this risk. I'll limit myself to B&M stores where I can look at the back and clearly see the word "anamorphic" written on it before I would buy it. (And the new version does have that written on the back.)

Left 4 Dead 2 is up on Best Buys website for $34.99 now...still no idea what Amazon is doing for it yet. Figured I should buy it from the first available and then see if Amazon does anything so I would be safe at that price.

Lovely. The "Blu-rays under $10" like Braveheart are $19.49 and all sorts of other higher-than-$10 prices.

Edit: Proceeding to checkout doesn't show any Lightning Deal discounts.

Edit #2: Supernatural S4 was $17.99, then $14.99. They must be hitting the server with a mallet. Don't panic. Yet.

Edit #3: After putting Supernatural in the cart, Braveheart BD shows as $10. LET THE SPENDING BEGIN!!!!
