Re: AMAZON Black Friday Week Bargains
It took me about 10 minutes to get Fast and Furious Blu-ray. Fortunately, I was able to get my copy. I hope this isn't a preview of what's to come on Black Friday.

Thanks. I had no idea there was a 4th movie with practically the same name as the 1st, so I ordered it... $9.99 for something that I DON'T have and that's recommended is easy. I sure hope Amazon fixes the problem with the lightning deals loading.

Re: AMAZON Black Friday Week Bargains
Could someone quickly explain the difference between Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen IMAX BR version at Walmart (was $19.96... don't know about now) vs. what Amazon will have for $12.99 tomorrow?
Though not related to a lightning deal, Star Trek 2009 BR is finally $18.99 in my gold box. I had gotten the $24.99 Enterprise ship version at Target. With tax it works out to an $8 difference. Is that Enterprise ship so cool that it's worth $8 more? I saw some not-so-great pictures and it's hard to decide.

As for Transformers, here is the info I found at highdefdigest:
The grand total of IMAX footage in the movie comes to 8 minutes and 54 seconds. Only two scenes in the film were shot with IMAX cameras: the forest battle about an hour into the movie, and most of the shots of Devastator near the end. The forest battle has just under 6 minutes of IMAX footage, while the later scene has just under 3 minutes of IMAX.
Almost all of this footage also appears on the general retail Blu-ray release of the film. The main difference is that the standard Blu-ray is presented at a constant 2.40:1 aspect ratio (like the movie's 35mm theatrical prints) while the Big Screen Blu-ray alternates aspect ratio at each piece of IMAX footage.
However, the IMAX version of the movie runs 32 seconds longer than the regular theatrical release. (Early reports of the difference being 71 seconds were incorrect.) The forest battle accounts for 22 seconds of that, and the Devastator scene has 10 extra seconds.

Re: AMAZON Black Friday Week Bargains
Would anyone recommend the LG 270 Blu-ray player for $87.99 shipped (if you pay with Discover Card) over the more expensive LG 370 or LG 390. I noticed the 370 streams Netfilx, etc. and the 390 is wireless, but the PQ is poorly reviewed on the 370 and the 390 doesn't seem to play DVD-R (at least according to the specs I saw on CNET). I'd like to use the CHASEBLU code for getting $50 off using my Amazon VISA, but the checkout screen says it has expired, despite the screen shot of the promotion banner saying it was good until December 31, 2009.

I'm scared to think of what's gonna happen if they put up Left 4 Dead 2 as a deal like this.
They're still at $44, yet so many places have it for $39. I just don't want to pay shipping and tax so I am waiting for it to at least drop to the $39 mark.
I'm debating ordering it at $44 and returning it if I get a better deal.

If it shows that you claimed it but you didn't order it and just deleted it from your cart by accident. Just add it to your wish or shopping list. Then add it to your cart that way. If you ordered it and want another one you can order 1 of each item only.

It is because you have already added it to your cart or ordered it,once you do that it shows up as claimed when you navigate back to the deals page, this is so you can only order it once.

Re: AMAZON Black Friday Week Bargains
I have been waiting since Sunday for this to happen. Seems like they are only matching season 1. I might just bite the bullet and pay the 2.50 shipping at bestbuy.com if Amazon doesn't price match by the end of the day. Since the sale at BB ends today. I can see Amazon raising all the seasons back to $ 30 + tomorrow unless they have there own sale planned later in the week.

$49.99 for Watchmen Nite Owl ship Blu-ray seems a bit high to me. I was hoping for lower.
I'm amazed Fast & Furious is lasting so long. I figured I'd miss it before I could get home from work.
Anyone heard Bon Jovi - The Circle? How is it?

My big aim for Friday was to avoid Wal-Mart and, possibly, stay in for the day. With Gladiator and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans Blu-rays both at $10 starting tomorrow, it's pretty much a definite.

Where is it shown that Underworld: Rise of the Lycans will be $10? I do not see it on the Amazon Lightning Deals list for the week.
