^In the store here, and what I've read from other sightings, these can be found in the "seasonal" area of the store. Where you'd normally find the Christmas/Halloween/Holiday stuff. It's a larger free-standing 2-sided rectangular (8x4?) red cardboard display with the DVDs in a graduating/elevated (stadium seating style) row type display. They are *not* in the normal DVD section.

These special sets are located in a section of the store where they sell stuff in the bulk and they're on a side wall along with some video games and books and other stuff, way in the back end, AWAY from the electronics department. Follow those yellow signs hanging above and it will lead you right to it.

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

Big wall of these neat V-Day items, though price is back to $15. At target in NY today, saw

'Quantum Leap' (S3 and 4, I believe),
'Hunter' (S1 and 2, 3 and 4),
'Sabrina', (S1 and 2)
'Magnum', (bunch of seasons)
'21 Jump Street' (S1 and 2, 3 and 4)

Also some Quadruple Feature DVDs for $5, mostly family films.

No "Stock Up & Save" 2 packs in LA area (prove me wrong, please), but did see single seasons of Hawaii Five-0 S1 and S2 for $14.99 each in the regular racks.

You guys got a lot more stuff there than what I've been seeing here in Chicago and the burbs and you're right on the specific seasons of QL

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

I just discovered a few of those $15 2-packs are available at Target online.

Specifically:

CSI - S1/S2
I Love Lucy - S1/S2
Sabrina the Teenage Witch - S1/S2
The Brady Bunch - S1/S2

Even with shipping they are decent deals, especially if your store does not have any in stock.

Don't want to wade through all of the posts but wanted to say I saw Futurama Volumes 3 and 4 in the slim packaging together for $20 total.

Hamilton Books has Wings 1+2 and Hogans Heroes 1+2 for 14.95 each. $3.50 for shipping but still not bad.

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

FYI The seasonal item sets may not pull up in the Target system. Buy them while quantities last. You have 90 days to return them unopened so keep your receipt. That also means 90 days for price match.
I saw I Love Lucy 1&2, Brady Bunch 1&2, Northern Exposure (I think 3 and 4), Hunter (? and ?), Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1 and 2) and I purchased Friday N L 1&2, Quantum Leap 3 and 4, and CSI 1 and 2. It was good to see that CSI set as Big Lots did not have season 1 during the Black Friday sale. I was wondering if anyone saw Quantum Leap 1 & 2 at any time packaged for sale?

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

FYI, you may have 90 days to return at Target but your Price Match window is only a week or two. I know because I tried to price match the $15 Quantum Leap 3/4 I bought when it went down to $12 but they said it was too late. And that was only a week or so later. Instead I just bought it at $12 and took it back with my $15 receipt.

Exactly. And I learned a long time ago when they refuse to pricematch because it's on the 15th day not to say "OK, then I'll just rebuy it at the lower price and return this one". The one time I did that the employee looked surprised like she had never conceived someone might do that and told me that would be an unethical way around "the system". I did it at a later time and left quickly as she acted like she was in shocked horror that I was the scum of the earth and wanted to call one of their wannabe cops (security guards) to tackle me (or maybe execute me on the spot with their billyclub). If they put loopholes in their system, (1) they should have the brains to realize they exist (nobody had to tell me about this... it was immediately obvious) and (2) they shouldn't get mad and self righteous if someone uses it. Now when they rattle on about their short pricematch window, I just let them go on feeling smug thinking they're sticking it to the consumer. The only time this doesn't work is when the item is out of stock.

I found a hidden seasonal DVD section last week, but it was only Valentine's day stuff. I have yet to find the elusive 2-pack TV seasons section (with any in stock) away from electronics at any Target store (and I won't order from Target.com and pay shipping), and I'm pretty tired of looking for I Love Lucy or Sabrina.

One store I went to south of Atlanta(Newnan) looked like they didn't have the DVDs, but some dope had decided it should be hidden behind the very last row, and against the wall. No way to see it walking up, and seems like a great way to have terrible DVD sales...

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

Yeah, I didn't say anything to the employee when I was denied my PM, just went and bought them again. I considered taking them back immediately after my purchase but decided to just do it at another time so as not to potentially cause trouble.

When I tried to PM CS1 1/2 for 12.00 they said it was too late (by THREE days), so I told them I'd just like to return it than rebuy it (there were none on the shelf). He said they usually don't allow that, but he didn't want to fight me, so he let me have it. It was policy that I had to grab one off the shelf instead of take the one I just returned. Usually Target has great customer service, but to deny a customer a rebuy at the counter is beyond ridiculous and is just petty.

I did not scan the 2-packs, but there was no sign at my store saying these were on sale again.

I think certain titles are for twelve bucks as *I saw Magnum PI S2 & S3 and Brady Bunch S1 & S2 for that price.

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

Today I stopped by my Target and got the 1 thing I was looking for (last 1 in stock), and I went through the electronics, movies, and seasonal sections carefully and there were no special DVD sections with TV season 2 packs (like I Love Lucy or Sabrina the Teenage Witch)... just the old I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, and Angel sets they've had for months in the normal TV section. I'm becoming convinced that the stores in my area did not receive any of these 2 packs that other people are seeing elsewhere. I've been told that my nearest Target is one of the "smaller" ones with less inventory. It looks the same size as any other Target to me, but employees there have said it more than a couple times as the reason why I often can't find stuff I hear about on the Internet.

Wall of them in NY, by V-Day section, side by side with 4-movie sets of family films for $5.
$12 sign up. All of the above titles, minus CSI and Lucy, sadly.

Manzana, if you still want that I Love Lucy two season set and I can find it in my neck of the woods, let me know; this way, you won't have to waste gs and energy and such and driving all around to look for the damn thing. I'll see what I can find.

Went to the Morrow GA target tonight, and they are clearly about to finish up on the big save event. Most of the fixtures/cardboard dumps are down, but they did still have the sets for $12, including Northern Exposure S3 and S4, and Hunter S3, and S4 Magnum, S2 and S3, well, most everything was there....

I'm not wasting gas... just time wandering around part of the store (I never look in the clothes or housewares sections) because I only do my "look for I Love Lucy and Sabrina" rounds when I'm already going to Target for something else (which typically happens once a week).

I appreciate your offer, but I'll pass. I've learned that with patience (though it may take years) eventually I'll get it for $15 or less (unless it goes OOP), and I've already got too much other stuff to watch (I just got The Incredible Hulk set yesterday) so waiting is easy on some stuff. Thanks again for the offer.

Manzana.. if you are looking for the I Love Lucy and Sabrina 2-packs, Target.com has them both available online today for $12. I think the shipping for both would cost you a little under $5 ($2.79 for one).

For 2 weeks they had a special separate section that I found when it was empty, and now that section (in electronics) is full of bottles of water. If my Target has a $12 TV 2 pack section, it's so well hidden that nobody knows about it and I don't have time to scour every aisle every time I go there. I'm surprised Target doesn't do Bewitched 2 packs @ $12 each since I just bought all 3 of those for $19.96 at Walmart... oh wait, Target has to wait 91 days from my purchase to do that. :-)

As much as it would be fun to trade, I just hate going to the post office to mail stuff and it's too much trouble for I Love Lucy which is a low priority want for me. Hopefully someday I'll see these at a Target, but knowing these were $12 at some Targets will make paying $14.99 that much more difficult if I ever see them again. Oh well. It's like the Big Lots stuff... it seems to be YMMV what you find depending where you live.
You don't have time for a quick walk around the store?

I bit the bullet on season 1&2 of Greatest American Hero today for $12.

Edit: And fuck, just looked on amazon and seasons 1-3 are $14. I guess that one is going back.

Edit 2: $11 Free shipping from ebay.
