Never saw "The Lucy Show" bundled in a two-pack before, but the first and third series yes.

Thanks to That'sAllFolks and RMW650 for the clarification on the Lucy DVDs. I knew it was probably too good to be true and it was. Would love to find LUCY SHOW 1 & 2 and I LOVE LUCY 3 & 4.

It's so weird - every store I've been to in So Cal, may have a shelf tag for the tv 2packs, but the only thing to be seen is a few odd ball movies and a blueray. Like they never got here.

Echo, you might be able to find a bundle pack online somewhere of The Lucy Show but by the summer I imagine, Target will have I Love Lucy S3 & S4 out, just a hunch and a guess at my end. No problem at all.

I would love to see that but I'm not holding my breath. I purchased the S1/S2 2-pack at Target over a year ago. It was only on the shelves here for 2-3 months and has not been back on the shelf in 2-pack form until the recent cardboard display. The few they had (5-6) on that display sold in just a day or two.

3 days after my last visit, my Target pulled the entire (mostly-empty) display where I Love Lucy S1 & S2 was supposed to be, so I decided I'm going to stop wasting my time looking for it. By the time I hear about these, they are usually gone. All the Dances with Wolves BDs and their tags were gone from my store too. Glad I got 1 @ $14.99 while they were still there. Very weird how stuff goes in and out like that. I'd expect this from Big Lots or Ross, but I didn't think Target sent mini (one-time) batches of whatever they could negotiate for cheaply at the moment. At least that's what these appearing/disappearing TV series seem like.

I just picked up Friday Night Lights: Seasons 1 & 2 for $12.00. Also saw I Love Lucy: Season 1 & 2 and The Brady Bunch: Season 1 & 2 for $12.00. I think the tag said temporary price cut until 1/29/11.

Saw the same thing jmsmath saw BUT at the Niles, IL Target on Touhy Avenue...I Love Lucy S1 & S2 bundle, Magnum PI S2 & S3, FNL S1 & S2 and Brady Bunch S1 & S2 on sale this week for $12.00...that's a hell of a deal, considering one of these seasons is going, on average, for about 20 bucks.

Picked up Northern Exposure 3 & 4 for $15

It never fails....everytime I buy something, it goes on sale not long after. I should be able to get a price adjustment. Thanks for the heads up.

Did anyone notice if quantum leap s3/s4 was also part of the $12 sale if your store had it?

stopped in Target and saw these as a Temporary Price Adjustment for 12.00 (1/23-1/29). Scooped up the 4 I had and I Love Lucy S1/S2, bought them and walked over to CSR without my previous receipt and had them look up previous receipts on the computer with my credit card.

The did not have CS1 S1/S2 though and had added Brady Bunch S1/S2 and I Love Lucy S1/S2 since I had checked a couple of weeks ago. Also the DVDs in that section were 4.00 and I guess the BR's were 8.00 (but I didn't check)

It's Magnum S2 and S3...I haven't seen I Love Lucy here(south Atlanta) but they have had some Bravo and Food Network shows...Also the blu ray DVD's are $8
Does anyone know if the sale will end on the 29th, hence the lower prices, or does this (overall)sale go into Feb????

It sure is as the one in Rosemont, IL had that exact set you're referring to at twelve bucks, but only good until Saturday 1/29/2011...the signage said all 15 buck twin pack TV sets are 12 for this week only.

If anyone is looking or needing the two-pack I Love Lucy set (S1 & S2) let me know and I'll pick it up and we can work out a trade or something.

Still nothing in LA. It may be too late, but I can start a trade thread for these 2 packs if anyone is interested (besides those of who can't find them).

Thanks for the "heads up" on the $12 price reduction! I "returned" a "Northern Exposure" S3/S4 for the lower price and found "Brady Bunch" S1/S2 which has been OOS since these were mentioned.

FWIW the TV "tins" were also $12 each.

I'm looking at the Brady Bunch right now. Only they are not in a two pack but each on there own. $9.99 each. I will be going to LA Sunday for two week. All I want is Q.L. I am hoping they have them up there.

My target didn't have any of those $12 sets....

I'm going for the price adjustment tomorrow also.

I've been looking for Quantum Leap as well. As far as I've seen, they don't have any of these sets in the LA area. I had them look it up in the computer and nothing was there. I think it's a regional thing and we got screwed.

After hearing people speak of the $12 TV 2 pack section, I thought maybe these titles would reappear at my Target. I asked 2 electronics employees who (as is often the case) were totally unaware of such a section. So I looked around the usual areas and saw nothing... just the same old same old TV stuff. For 2 weeks they had a special separate section that I found when it was empty, and now that section (in electronics) is full of bottles of water. If my Target has a $12 TV 2 pack section, it's so well hidden that nobody knows about it and I don't have time to scour every aisle every time I go there. I'm surprised Target doesn't do Bewitched 2 packs @ $12 each since I just bought all 3 of those for $19.96 at Walmart... oh wait, Target has to wait 91 days from my purchase to do that. :-)

As much as it would be fun to trade, I just hate going to the post office to mail stuff and it's too much trouble for I Love Lucy which is a low priority want for me. Hopefully someday I'll see these at a Target, but knowing these were $12 at some Targets will make paying $14.99 that much more difficult if I ever see them again. Oh well. It's like the Big Lots stuff... it seems to be YMMV what you find depending where you live.
