Same here. All 50% coupon orders and Groupon orders have shipped except SW. Of course they went via Argix Direct, so I should have something to watch by Easter.

I had an order ship with Argix on 2/16 and it arrived today.

My Stieg Larrson Trilogy should be here on Friday. I ordered it with the 50% coupon and it shipped on Monday night.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Anyone else thinking that there might be another Criterion sale april 11-24? Just basing that off of the current $8 coupon expiring at the end of march and Groupon expiring April 10th.

It would make more sense, with the sale driving so much store-floor traffic, to do the sale three times a year, I know I wouldn't object.

If there are anymore Criterion sales I would assume they would be around the same months as the previous sales that were in July and November the past couple of years. Also B&N will probably issue more $8 coupons to replace the current one after it expires next month.

Yea, I feel the same way too. I love their CC sales, but I seem to be able to get everything I want within the first week to ten days, while the sale drags on another two weeks. I'd prefer three sales per year, (one every four months), lasting for a shorter duration. It's a looong wait from November to June...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Huh? i checked out this thread to see if there were any decent BN.com deals available for purchase with the Groupon my wife gave me for Valentine's Day and many orders are getting cancelled?

I placed an order with a BN Groupon I purchased and it arrived a couple weeks ago. That Groupon account is in my name and the credit card tied to both my Groupon account and my BN.com account is in my name.

My wife purchased a BN Groupon on the Groupon account in her name with a credit card in her name (and she has a different last name than me.) She gave that Groupon to me.

Would I be stupid to try to place an online order on my BN.com account with that Groupon? I don't see anything on it stating that it's not transferrable but I have become concerned skimming the last few pages of this thread.

If your Groupon is still valid I would not expect any problems using it online. The problem with canceled orders were involving usage of multiple Groupons on an order. I limited all my B&N Groupon online orders to no more than one and never had anything canceled.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I had a question for anyone that has ever used the 20% renewal coupon online:

Will they still take the 10% off like they always do when you use your card
and then take another 20% off for the renewal coupon? Or is it just the 20%
renewal coupon that only gets taken off?

And does it make a difference if your renewing before the membership actually expires?

Thanks in advance for any info. Very much appreciated.

You no longer get 10% off online with the membership.

Looks like a few Criterion Blu-rays are 50% off. These are the only two titles I've seen so far. Unfortunately not many coupons available at the moment.

EDIT: They raised the price of Fanny & Alexander to $20.99

Howards End was 40% off at $17.99.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

It looks like the half price Criterion's are part of this Award Winners Sale.
There is also an "up to 50% off" sale on Documentaries.

EDIT: Nevermind, the price jumped up to $31.49

They must have raised the price for Crumb. When I went there it was only 30% off, but at least it took the coupon code for 7% off one item and allowed me to use one of my Groupon $20 certificates to just pay about $8 for it after tax with free shipping.

That didn't last long. They raised the prices of all the Criterions that were 50% off. I did manage to get in an order that included Army of Shadows Blu-ray at 19.99 minus the 10% AAA discount. Let's see if they cancel it.

Yeah lots of stuff was $19.99 this morning, including The Kids are All Right, 127 Hours, Weeds Season 6, Despicable Me, Megamind, some Criterions and some others I don't recall. I picked up 127 Hours.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Are there or will there be any non-member coupons that could be used for an online purchase of a Nook Color?

This is the least amount of coupons we've ever had. It's very depressing. My temp membership expires in 3 days, so was hoping to get a few last uses in before I cancel it...

I don't recall ever seeing a regular coupon valid with a Nook.

The past two weeks have been terrible for new coupons. I thought B&N would have released at least few 15% for this week, but it looks like nothing again. Hopefully next week will be better. I still have one month remaining on my free membership trial.

They really have gotten stingy with their coupons. You'd think they would try to aggressively grow their customer base now, with the partial implosion of Borders, but it seems they've gone in the opposite direction.

Also of note is that new "$8 off one DVD" coupon. The way I interpret the wording, there will be no way to use these on $40 MSRP Criterons during the 50% off sale. I sure hope they resurrect the old $5 coupon that triggers at $20.
