most definitely getting
You've got Mail on Blu ray
maybe get the Dragon tattoo blu's as well (on sale at 40% already for the first 2 and 30% off for the 3rd)
if they had the scream blu's in stock I'd grab those as well

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I'm probably gonna spend ALL NIGHT researching what to get tomorrow. Last time I used the coupon around 20 times. Of course, I was combining it with B2G1F, and using 2 coupons at once. This time it is B1 Get 2nd for 50% off on TV seasons only. Same equivalent price, I know, but less of a reason for me to attempt to use 2 coupons on one purchase. So I'm sure I will use less coupons this time. Maybe only a dozen this time...
EDIT: Correction, B1 get 2nd 50% off IS NOT the equivalent to B2G1F, even if you are a member.
For instance, 3 $100 titles (using two 50% off coupons, then 10% off) would have been $45/$45/$0 last time, averaging $30 per title. This time, also using two coupons (one per purchase) it would be $45/$45 for two titles, then $45/$45 for another two titles, obviously averaging $45. So it isn't AS good, but still pretty good...
Anyway, in preparation for these coupons, I just re-upped for another 2-month trial membership. Perhaps I'll keep it this time. We'll see. Time to abuse the hell out of it...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I had a question about the term "stacking coupons" if anyone can help:
Is that when you try and use two coupons at once in a store or online?
Is that a YMMV type of thing?
When I go into my local B&N DVD department they barely want to let me even use one coupon let alone if I tried to use two at once.

The best strategy is to be polite, be patient, thank them for their help and consideration, and express your appreciation for anything they can do to stack the coupons.

Too bad the coupons expire before Tron comes out. I know you can still do Ship to Home, but you wouldn't be able to use the Disney coupon on top of the B&N coupon (IF the cashier was willing to do so). Hopefully the Disney coupon will come out early enough so that I can try that.

Oops, I didn't realize that. I thought it was all DVD's and BD's. DAMN! Time to start emptying my cart. I added a BUNCH of titles in to take advantage of that... It also doesn't appear to work on pre-orders, such as True Blood S3...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
My plan is to use this on more of the Doctor Who DVDs that I need. I've found both the cheapest ones available and the ones that have the lowest amount in stock on Amazon. In total, it came out to 22 DVDs. 11 of them my store has, 11 of them my store doesn't. I compiled that into a list of which I want to get first, second, third, etc.
I don't know if I'll be able to or not, but ideally I would go in with a Member Coupon and a Non-Member Coupon. Do one in-store purchase and one ship-to-home order. kenbenobi, you used the coupon so much last time, do you think that's something I'll be able to do?

If it's unlikely that we'll get generic online codes, remind me again if there isn't a way to place an order by calling a B&N store and placing a "ship-to-home" order with the (surprise!) 50% code? Isn't it also true that the item needs to be OOS in order for them to do the "ship-to-home"?
My experience has been that their in-store system will not allow ship-to-home if the item shows as "in-stock". I asked if I could do ship-to-home on a few Criterion titles during a past sale, as the only ones they had were in the old digi-packs. Since the UPCs were exactly the same, the clerk could not successfully enter the order, as the system would not permit it.

Thanks LASERMOVIES! Can't wait to hit up Barnes & Nobles and pick up some more Doctor Who on DVD.
I could be wrong, but I think 106351 (Member) and 501961 (Non-Member) are going to be the 50% Off Coupons. Last time we had these coupons, the lowest number in the sequence was the 50% Off Coupon, so I imagine they would do it the same this time around.

Why would you call? Just go in and ask. I've never tried calling in an order, but I would imagine you would be denied use of any coupons, as they need to be scanned and accounted for.

During the last batch I went in and, without thinking, said "Here's my 50% Off Coupon," and the cashier said, "Well it might be 50%, it could also be these other percentages as well." And I was like, "Oh yeah, you're right. Well hopefully it is 50% Off." When it turned out to be 50% Off, I think she knew something was up.

My closest B&N is 45 miles away, one-way. If I can arrange for a "ship-to-home" and still apply the coupon (I think they'll accept the code number), then that saves me a 90 mile trip. You're right that it is somewhat YMMV since the item needs to be OOS and they need to be willing to accept the coupon over the phone. I guess I need to brush up on my "shocked" voice when they tell me that my mystery coupon was good for 50% off

Absolutely! That's what I did last time. If you can do the Ship to Home from a counter elsewhere in the store, it should work like a charm. My store does ship to homes from the customer assistance counter, then they hand me a printout to go pay at a register. I was never turned down for pre-orders, but if it is in-stock at your store, they could say no.

And you're saying you don't have to do a ship-to-home for a DVD in the CD/DVD section of the store? Very interesting... Obviously that would make it much easier for multiple trips, lol.

The coupons are valid for one item. They are printable store coupons that you have to use at a B&N store. You can't use them online. You can find all the coupons on the first page, but click the spoilers to see the store coupons to print out. However you will have to check back tomorrow to find out which coupons are worth 50% off.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
You're welcome! You should be able to get a good price on the Ten Commandments gift set with the coupon if you order it at a store for a ship to home order. Might want to check store inventories at local stores to find one that doesn't have it, so they will let you order it for the online price. I would assume the store price could be the $89.99 list price.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
check online, both stores in town are in stock and it just might be $89.99 unless they do sale price for the week of release which would be better.
