Thanks for the tip on Lives of Others, I may have to hit that.

Also, CC has the worst customer service of all time. I called a store (Lewisville) and they wouldnt even check to see if they had The Warriors for me. Then, I went in the store and snuck my way into one of the computer pos systems and four seconds later had an inventory search menu. I checked a good ten different titles, non of which were in stock.

Oddly enough, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang which was $29 at the first store (Denton)was marked $34 here, guess I got lucky on that one.

I talked to a girl at a different location (Irving Mall), she told me that CC's in this region (North TX) got their shipments on Wed. mornings so to try for the stuff I wanted again tomorrow. Hopefully the sale will still be going on.

Made the 10 mile trip to another Circuit City and scored Transformers HD and Invisible Blu-Ray for $30. Not bad for 2 brand new releases in hi-def.

Since my stores normaly restock on Wednesday I'm gonna go try one more time tomorrow and see if I can't get my hands on Casino Royale.

I was just curious because one of the ones I got had Megatron on the cover. It was the only one I seen like it in all the stores I went to today and since I bit and bought nearly every exclusive today lol I went ahead and bought that one too(well got it free that is)

The Daly City store on Gellert Ave. was a hot mess. It was a chore trying to get to the shelves and having to climb over 4-5 people to get Blu-rays. News travels fast in this area. I picked up :

The Great Raid
Vacancy
Perfect Stranger
F4: ROTSS
The Invisible
The Reaping

Total : $94.85

Over $400 spent on Blu-rays in the past 5 days. I'm broke as a joke...LOL.

If anyone is interested in picking up The Reaping on Blu-Ray in exchange for something they couldn't find in their store, let me know. My circuit city didnt have it the reaping. Maybe my store will have one you couldn't find. I am making another trip in the morning so let me know through pm. I'll be on for a little while.

I can probably do 2 for 2 or so on as well if it would help make it more worth it for shipping reasons.

Just let me know which ones your looking for and I'll tell ya if I can get it. I spent enough time in there today to know what they have lol

I can also pick up HD,including Transformers in return if thats what your looking for.

Anyone here in Orange County, CA there is a new store at Foothill Ranch. Pretty good HD-DVD/Blu-Ray selection, especially compared to the other CC stores I went to. I was able to snag Rocky Balboa, Casino Royale, The Good Shephard and FF2.

Picked up a few HD DVDs there today, great deal but pretty slim selection. I'm really tempted to go back and buy some BRs even though I don't have a player.

Also, WMAangel.....do you know if the second Movie Stop on Midlothian Tpk is open yet? I keep forgetting to ask the people at the Harbour Pointe store.
Do not know yet about the Movie Stop, where on Midlo Trnpk is this new one going to be? I went to the Hull Street one last night to pick up my Transformers HD-DVD since they were doing the special midnight sale thing....I had pre-ordered it there with the new release trade in deal.....wish I had known about this CC sale before I pre-ordered it from them, I'd much rather have paid $15!

I might have to try and hit up the CC at Southpark in Colonial Heights just to see if they might possibly have anything that I haven't been able to find at the other locations (specifically Accepted on HD and The Fly on BD)...can't try and call any of their stores beforehand, the CC employees always seem so clueless....

Hey guys, wow when i started this thread I had no idea it would get this many views/responses!!! I'm glad everyone was able to take advantage of this great deal (probably the best one we'll ever get this year)!! I myself ended up getting about 20+ BDs and am pretty much broke. I hope this last till the end of the week, but it seems like they are slowly shutting these down store by store =(.

Stopped by the Depford Mall store in NJ and they had a small sign posted over the DVD rack. The sign listed BOGO titles in two categories - $24.99 and $29.99. The items listed seemed to consist of mainly Disney titles - the same titles that are on sale @ Amazon, DD & J&R.

Came back from Huntington Beach, CA with Transformers, Goodfellas, Fantastic 4 2, and Serenity.

I was originally holding a ton more and realized I'm spending way to much.

What's the possibility of this sale lasting through next week?
I would love to get 2001 A Space Oddessy HD, The Shinning HD, and A Clockwork Orange HD B1G1 free. Assuming that they will even carry those title.
BTW, anyone find The Reaping on HD DVD?

This is a day to day matter, one would think higher ups will be suspicious why BD and HD-DVDs are flying off the shelf.

My two local stores had NONE of those. I was very disappointed in the selection. I bought Transformers and Blood Diamond today, but I have no plans to buy anything else. I had a list of 20 HD titles I would have bought, and they had none of them. Their selection sucks...
