Dead now, huh? Now I don't know what to do with the Blu-Ray title (which wasn't part of the official sale list) I got that I don't really want.

Oh well I was tempted to go back again today to look for a few more DVDs I missed yesterday. My local CC had a great selection of both HD formats in stock. It didn't appear anyone in the area was aware of the glitch so the title selection wasn't picked over.

Amen. This was an obvious glitch and no one should be anything but thankful to CC for letting some of you get some "deals".

When I was at CC on Monday, there was a guy going through literally every Blu-Ray case on the shelf to find the sale titles, and he kept double checking the list to make sure he got a title. He was even grabbing crap like Flightplan. I thought about telling him about the glitch, but then he probably would've ended up buying everything there.

Surprised it took so long... the ineptness of CC is really astounding if it takes them days to fix this kind of a mistake...

Considering how much money this likely cost Circuit City I would say this hurt them more than a Boycott. I only bought titles I couldn't get from the other BOGOF vendors.

It usually takes them 3-4 days to get their advertised video game deals right in their system. This is par for the course with them.

Someone said that they can only make system wide changes in promotions and pricing overnight, so it makes sense that it didn't go through until today. Well, actually, I thought it would be caught by yesterday morning, I'm really surprised they let it go until after Transformers came out.

My aunt actually went and got my 28 weeks later exchanged for F4:ROTSS!

It had the bonus disc included and I even got back $1.63!

This really made my long day at school and club.

I thought it wouldnt work since the BOGO was said to be dead.

It failed on Transformers cause there was only 1 guy running the registers and he must have known that there was no way transformers was half off. If there was a girl runnin any checkouts I would have gone to her for sure. So he denied my 1 package deal and Transformers and Top Gun are goin back!

Anything in particular you're looking for? This is the one title on my want list that I couldn't find at any of my local stores.

I agree and I am very thankful CC gave me a reason to screw them out some quality BD and HD releases.

Someone on CAG is claiming this is working again today. Anyone attempt or confirm?

CC does not allow returns without a receipt, not even after Christmas... not even if there is a CC sticker on it (although they did try to find my out-of-state Aunt in their system to find the receipt)...

I don't see how it could be working again but if anyone else confirms it worked for them, I'll take another trip and see

I think if you get extremely lucky and have a person ring you up that has no idea what they are doing you may have a shot at getting this deal. I think officially it is not dead in their system, it is that they were told not to ring anybody up for this sale unless they have the titles that apply.
