Anyone hit up the Pasadena, CA store? If it still works there, I'll pay the store a visit after work and on my way to class tonight.

Working in Denton, TX.

Picked up The Fountain and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang brs for $32.xx.

I'm really trying to find The Warriors, Black Book, Lives of Others, Edward Scissorhands or something, but having no luck. I've got two Circuit City's left to try, so hopefully one of them will provide something good.

Lives of Others is currently $19.99 at FYE. They are running a half off sale on all Sony Blu-Rays. If you have a Backstage Pass, then it would only be $17.99. Not as good as the CC BOGO, but none too shabby if you are unable to locate it at your local CC.

Not sure about that store, but the one in Glendale near the Market place works. Just picked up a few movies including Transformer on HD-DVD.

I went a little crazy and had to stop myself from buying too much. My purchases were all HD-DVDs.

Of the $30 titles I got An American Werewolf In London (why the heck is this title still $30?) & Blades Of Glory. I was going to get Transformers but had already bought it online for $20 and didn't want to deal with the return hassle.

Of the $25 titles I got Wolf Creek, Feast, The 40-Year-Old Virgin Unrated, Born On the Fourth of July, Serenity, Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, Casino & Goodfellas.

I was sad to see no copies of Superman The Motion Picture and Superman Returns was still priced at $35.

Awesome deal & thanks to the original poster!

Another guy was there buying a bunch as well and asked me if I heard it thru the AVS forums. I told him Dvdtalk but the word is definitely getting out.

It has to be a glitch to include the HD-DVDs because when the clerk was ringing me up, it a message kept popping up BlueRay Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

Wonder how long this will last?

I went to two CC and couldn't find Return to House on Haunted Hill, so I gave up and just bought it at Best Buy. The only reason I tried CC was to get Transformers for free. I don't really want the movie that bad, but for free why the hell not? Oh well.

I guess none of the CC got this movie in HD (and I'm guessing Blu-Ray). I was going to grab it along with Transformers. I did grab Transformers and Troy (Director's Cut) for 25 plus tax out the door. That's just a bit more than what some people are paying for the 2-disc SD version.

Sweet, the exact combo i wanted (unless I just get two transformers and sell one on EBAY to save me money )

The Descent was damn good though....hmmm, what to do.

Got it at Ross Park in Pittsburgh.

The deal is actually 50% off each when buying two, which is a better deal than BOGO. (I paid $27.50 for Transformers and a $24.99 title instead of $29.99 for Transformers and the other free).

I got:

Transformers HD - $15.00
40 Year Old Virgin HD - $12.50
Charlie Chocolate HD - $12.50
Eternal Sunshine HD - $12.50

Worked at my local CC in Massachusetts.

Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Casino
American Werewolf in London
Serenity

all in HD-DVD, and rang up as $12.50 each. I did not try any BluRay discs.

Nice.

I see a lot of folks were picking up Bourne titles on HD. Just wanted to make sure you realize they are releasing a Jason Bourne HD Box Set in a few months with more extras..........

300 Blu-Ray $15
Casino Royale Blu-Ray $15
Rocky Balboa Blu-Ray $15
The Fountain Blu-Ray $15
Flags of Our Fathers 2 disc SE HD-DVD $15
Troy Director's Cut Blu-Ray $12.50
Black Hawk Down Blu-Ray $12.50
Momento Blu-Ray $12.50
Casino HD-DVD $12.50

I was able to get transformers for 15.00, but the rest of the selection was pretty bad, no 40 yov, no descent, no charlie and the chocolate fact, no serenity, I ended up blind buying Flags of our fathers, I figure I intended on checking it out sooner or later, and never picked it up, but i would have preferred one of the others.

Worked tonight in NJ. The checkout guy had no idea about the promotion, but I asked him to watch the screen and put it through.

Picked up:

Casino
Goodfellas
Troy Directors Cut
Transformers
Batman Begins
Sleepy Hollow

All for $82 out the door. I think they all rang up as $12.50 except Transformers at $15. Haul would have been even better if I remembered to look for Top Gun and some others. But what a sweet deal. Hopefully it continues for another couple of days.

Update: my wife was in Tacoma (about 25 miles north), so I called her and asked her to check the CC there. No problems!! (She _is_ better looking than I am.) We got Transformers and Evan Almighty for just over $30.
