Checked out Wal-Mart this AM. I was unable to find any with the bonus disc at my Wal-Mart. Per a poster at another forum they only found the bonus disc included with the full-screen release and was not included with the widescreen release. They did not elaborate on what was included on the bonus disc.

For those that found a WS two-pack, did they have separate shelf spaces or mixed with FS?

BTW, is there any chance they will release a 2-disc SE later on with all the R2 features?

my WalMart also only has full screen 2 pack--no big deal for me as i have the R2 version just wanted the extra disc if i was gonna buy the R1 version
besides,i didn't like that the spine of the extra disc had no mention of Hot Fuzz and just said "Wal Mart exclusive disc"

It just seems the crowd that this movie is really for (that will laugh at the action-style editing, camera angles, etc.) would want widescreen versions, and the demographic that Wal-Mart is using this 2-disc deal for (casual moviegoers who like fullscreen because widescreen "chops off the picture") are two completely different crowds.
It just doesn't make sense why they wouldn't offer more widescreen versions. I don't know anybody (save my parents who have watched movies that have taken up the entire screen their whole lives) that prefers FS to WS. It just seems counterproductive for Wal-Mart to do this.

Just picked this up my WM only had FS..
How do i go about switching this, Do i take it unopened and just ask if i can switch (My recipt says 2 pack) or do i open it and take it back and tell them it dosent play and just go grab a widescreen version. I think they will make me go grab a 2 disc one and switch it out

I found it at the second Wal-Mart I went to (By Potomac Mills mall). On the shelf they only had Full Screen copies, but just as I turned around to leave a guy pushed a huge Hot Fuzz display behind me with plenty of Widescreen copies. Price was $19.96 and for those of you contemplating buying Full Screen and doing a switcheroo the DVD is sealed by itself. The bonus disc isn't sealed but the actual movie is. It has a white sticker over the barcode (and the plastic, it's not on the inside), but it peels off very easily.

The two pack with WS does exist, I've seen it with my own eyes at my Walmart. Unfortunately, I'm not one for bonus discs (especially those in their own case, I value space on my shelves more), and I had already picked up Hot Fuzz earlier at Best Buy.
But it does exist! Should I perhaps go buy it, and return my copy to BB? Is it worth it?

WM in Union CIty has about 20 copies of WS 2 pack and 40+ for FS 2 pack. At first I coudlnt find the WS copies and i asked and they said they only had FS packs. The WS ones were on the standup in the center of the store on the bottom. GLad to see they had more than a few copies, i started to get really pissed and was going to rip off the FS copy and put a WS one with it and act like it was that way on the shelf. It was $19.99 for the 2 pack here.

Does anyone know if there is any chance of the Wal-Mart website getting these 2-disc exclusives up? Because I just went to my local Wal-Mart and, of course, they only had 5 full screen versions. The little tag on the shelf even said something like "Hot Fuzz Exclusive FS" and let me tell you, there wasn't a tag anywhere in sight that said "Hot Fuzz Exclusive WS." So, I bought the single disc, but before I open it I'd like to know if I have a shot at getting the exclusive.

Ugh, I've been by two stores, found nothing but full screen packs. Where is the logic in that?
I'm tempted to just hold off entirely on this now, despite how much I love the film (I saw it six times in the theater). I've got one more store to try, but needless to say my hopes are low.

Nothing but FS 2 packs in the Fairfax store in Northern VA....they didn't even have single copies of the WS version. And don't get me started on the sales lady who was trying to go out of her way NOT to help me. Was reminded why I hate this store so much today. Don't know if I have the energy to try and other ones....there aren't a lot around here. Agh!

I just got back from the store and snagged a widescreen 2pack! I'm so happy, there were about 8 2packs altogether, I had to look through 4 of them before I found a widescreen one. Don't know if there were anymore.
