One of my local stores only had the FS 2-packs so I bit the bullet and bought it. Opened up the DVD and went to another store with the receipt to trade for a WS copy and they said I'd have to give up the bonus disc in order to, so I left. Went to a third store without the receipt and got my WS copy with no questions asked.

Ugh. My Wal-Mart only had one copy of the two pack and it was fullscreen. I picked it up anyway since it was the last one, but I'm planning to try Sam's Club or other Wal-Mart locations and returning the fullscreen copy.

My Wal-Mart had hundreds of copies of the two-pack (in the front of the store, as well, as the back in the entertainment section) and had equal copies of both full screen and widescreen. I snagged a copy along with the special editions of Escape From New York, Basic Instinct, and The Running Man out of the $5 bin.

Here in San Diego, there were plenty of WS and FS two-packs. Definitely gonna have to fix that label, though.

What is on the disc? Seems like there was confusion earlier in this thread.

I went to the store in Lagrange, IL and they had 5 copies of the bundle, all FS. I asked and they said that they received no copies of it in WS. Incidentally, it was $19.96.

Also checked at Sam's Club and they didn't have the bundle (as they sometimes do).

If anyone sees them in WS in the south-suburban Chicago area, give me a shout.

Went to our Wal-Mart and they only had Full Screen 2-packs. I just got the 1 disc for $17. A lady was overjoyed that they had the Firehouse dog 2-pack in FS, she was like "FS, Great!!." I almost vomited but held it in.

Keeaumoku Street had a lot of full screen 2-packs -- had to look behind a bunch of FS to find WS. Seemed to have very few WS.

Go back to page 2 of this thread, there are scans of the back covers of the discs outlining the features.

Thanks dude...missed that when I was going through the thread. I will have to stop by Walmart (again...ARGH!) after work.

No luck at the store nearest my office. I did get mistaken as an employee, however (note to self: do not wear blue polo shirt to Wal-Mart!).

I'll try again this afternoon at the location by my house.

Only FS of the 2 pack at my town's Wal-Mart.

Huge to Universal for this (for both making it exclusive to Wal-Mart, and for not making the 2nd DVD standard in R1 in the first place).

If you combine the R1 disc with the Wal-Mart disc, you'll have everything found on the R2 set EXCEPT three commentary tracks BUT you'll get the Fuzzball Rally featurette.

And if you get the HD-DVD release, you'll get ALL the extras.

My Wal-Mart had 6 six copies of the 2 pack in FS and none in WS. So i just picked up the single disk WS. I'm not going to open it until Friday though because a Wal-Mart is opening in my town on Friday and I'm going to check there for the WS 2 pack.

Including ALL the commentaries? I see mention of a single commentary on most retailers websites, not multiple ones. Just trying to decide between the HD and R2 versions.

No go on the Widescreen 2 pack at Walmart in Bend, OR...heck, they didn't even have a display for Hot Fuzz. I may try again later this week. Boo to Universal for limiting this bonus disc to Walmart only.

Crap. The only thing I hate more than going to Walmart is going there and coming out empty-handed. Instead of wasting time hitting more Walmarts I should just buy an HD-DVD player.

I called around to 4 different Walmarts in my area, and one had them. She first had the regular one for 16.97 and I said, no, that's not it, it has an extra disc. She was gone a LONG time then came back and said that they just wheeled out the display and they did have it in widescreen. I went out there and didn't see them so I asked and he told me about the display HIDDEN in the back of an aisle. They had about 20 or so in Widescreen so I picked it up. I'm happy, well worth the trip.

Anyone have the bar code of the widescreen 2-pack? It's probably expecting too much but I wonder if I can give that to Wal-Mart and have them scan it or type it in to see if any stores in the area have it in stock.

Alternatively, anyone in southeastern or northeastern PA know any stores that have it? I checked East Norristown and West Norristown because they're closest to me, not because I expected much from these typically lousy locations, and they had no Hot Fuzz displays and less than 3 FS 2-packs at each.

I went to all 3 walmarts around me and all of them only had the fullscreen copy. But they let me swap it out and exchange the fullscreen copy when I explained to them what I wanted. Yay for nice people at walmart (a rarity).

Hey JediJones, I got mine at the Walmart at Robinson near Ikea but I guess that's not that close to you and like I said, there were well over 20 there.

I went to 3 Wal-Marts today and only found the fullscreen two pack. Frustrated, I ended up buying one at the last store that I went to. Tonight I'll probably take the movie back and try to exchange it for a WS copy, claiming that I lost my receipt.

I feel dirty for voting with my wallet that I seemingly prefer fullscreen. *shudder*
