I have never found Barnes and Noble to have rollercoaster prices the same way Amazon does. B&N's prices only go up when there is a sale on. Any set I want to purchase is 10% off or selling at MSRP.

Could try for X-files but you might be able to find it cheaper some where else.

Here's a list of coupons that can be used intore and online. I'll have to look to see if they added printable store coupon links for some of the 25% codes that were posted last week by Brendagg. I posted a couple of 25% store coupon links but those are expiring soon. There should be some new ones to replace those.

Based on my experience with BN, they will not lower any prices until the 25% coupons expire.

Lol, so many 25% off codes, and completely worthless. I wanted the new Indiana Jones Vol. 2 set. I can buy it cheaper at walmart than Bn with my 35%. That's pretty sad.

I finally decided to pick up Lost S3, which is currently 25% off, and then another 25% with the coupon. I know it was 30% off at one point, but I guess losing out on 5% isn't that bad. I had a GC to cover most of it anyway. Only paid $2.86 out of pocket. I'm hoping that Torchwood drops to 30% tomorrow. The sales rank is currently 202. Usually when it goes below 100, it drops to 30% (until B&N sees everyone using 25% coupons on it, then they kill the discount)

FYI, if anyone is looking for a cheap item to add to get free shipping on those lower priced DVD's, B&N has a Disney exclusive lithograph set for $5.99. It is free with some Disney DVD's, but might be worth 6 bucks to someone...

New releases and not-too-distant pre-orders are usually where the deals are at. There are some deals to be had, but once B&N sees a bunch of people ordering the same thing, they kill the discount on those items. Gotta jump when you see something at 30% off. Proscrastinate, and they will raise the price. I've learned that lesson toooo many times...

It appears B&N changed it later after I posted it. The coupons were different and had different barcodes, one said members, and the other was for non members. Thanks for the update. I checked to see if they moved the coupon to a new link but couldn't find anything. I leave the links as they are for now in case B&N changes it again.

Muchas Gracias, LASERMOVIES!
I'd given up on seeing ANY non-member printables during the month of December, let alone a 25% one.

edit: oh, damn... just saw the more recent posts...

Thanks! Someone at B&N changed the coupon back to non members. However I would print a few extra copies in case it disappears again.

However just in case I saved a copy to my hard drive. If it vanishes again I'll post it.

Thanks for the head's up!

Yeah I'd gotten into the habit of printing to pdf, 'cause there's no printer access here. But having a copy is also handy in cases like this.

I was going to pick up the Blade Runner 4-disc set at Best Buy for $23, but Barnes & Noble just dropped their online price for the SD 5-disc limited edition Briefcase set to $55 (30% off MSRP.)

Using my 10% membership discount and a 25% off coupon (thanks to LASERMOVIES & brendagg,) I managed to order it for $36 shipped.

Yea that is a good deal. I checked the briefcase edition of the HD version and it isn't very good of a deal. Comes to ~$67.

You must have a lower tax rate. Mine will be $35.58 after the 5% B&N MC rebate.

to LASERMOVIES for the coupons and another to the right Rev. Karl for the heads-up. (I had given up on getting BR at B&N online for a good price and bought it at Borders. But it's worth the trouble returning it for the $15 savings. )

Everyone, jump on the bandwagon before B&N takes the wheels back off!

Thanks RevKarl. Got it for $37.91.

I've been waiting for Damages S1 to have a better discount. It went from 10% to 15% but I'm waiting for 30%.

Great deal, $10 cheaper than WHV's deal (and no service hassle). It seems to show that one should not pre-order any title months ahead of time especially those titles which get released near year-end holiday season.

You could also use the 30% store coupon and do ship to home order while getting the the better online price.

Although the coupon states not eligible for ship-to-home orders?

Has anyone had any problems using it this way?
