Thanks for the kind words. I'm just glad I can give something back to this forum which has saved me a lot of money over the years on great DVD deals.

You can use the current coupons that have been posted for books both online and at B&N stores using the online codes and the printable coupons found on the links. I have run across other book only coupons but they are usually limited to specific titles. I can post them when I run across them but not sure if there would be a lot of interest for a few select titles.

Deal killer? I'm not so sure. This is standard language on the coupons. Generally, the B&N discount, the percentage discount on the website (bolded), and a coupon all stack. (For instance, when LEGO sets were on sale for 15% off, that discount, my B&N member discount, and a 25% coupon all stacked.)

My guess is that if you buy (for instance, using arbitrary numbers and web discounts):
Set #1 $99.99 @ 20% off = $79.99
Set #2 $89.99 @ 10% off = $80.99
Set #3 $99.99 @ 15% off = $84.99

Using a B&N membership (10%) it will recalculate:
Set #1 $71.99
Set #2 $72.89
Set #3 $76.49

Set #1 is the least expensive, so you would pay $72.89 + $76.49 = $149.38 (plus tax).

At least that's my guess.

I ran across an offer for a free $10 B&N GC I saw over at slick deals for AT&T customers living in CA. It supposed to be for business customers but I just called and the woman I spoke to said she would send one out after I gave her my personal information. A lot of people claimed they where told they would be sent a GC but I'm skeptical until it shows up. This is definitely one of those don't count on it deals and ymmv. I agree with your math, but compared to LAST YEAR'S sale, I have no interest in this sale. Last year there was B1G1F on box sets, plus the sale price, plus 10% off for members, plus $10 off $40 (or 15% off instead). So two $100 box sets were coming to $53 TOTAL for both. This sale can't even compare, and that is ASSUMING the sale is valid on box sets. But I don't think it is. The B2G3 info says "DVD's", not "DVD box sets." The June B2G3 sale was labeled the same way, and did NOT include box sets. Their prices on single DVD's are usually pretty terrible, except for some new releases. So this sale seems pretty worthless to me...
